A Florida woman allegedly used coronavirus relief funds from the Paycheck Protection Program to hire a hitman accused of killing a Transportation Security Administration officer outside Miami last year, according to newly unsealed court documents obtained by local media.

Jasmine D. Martinez, 33, is in custody in St. Lucie County on charges of first-degree murder, attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder, jail records show. She’s expected to be transferred to Miami-Dade custody.

Javon Carter and Romiel Robinson are already jailed there on a slew of related charges.

Charges against Carter, an ex-con and the alleged shooter, include first-degree murder with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm by a violent career criminal.

Robinson was already in custody on other charges, including resisting arrest, burglary, carrying a firearm without a serial number, armed robbery, drug trafficking and many more.

All three are being held without bond, jail records show.

Martinez is accused of collecting $15,000 in PPP money, most of which went toward hiring Carter to allegedly gun down Le’Shonte Jones, 24, in front of her 3-year-old on May 3, according to the Miami Herald, which obtained court records containing the allegations.

After  Martinez collected the coronavirus-relief money, Robinson allegedly negotiated a $10,000 fee for Carter using coded language, according to NBC 6 Miami, which also obtained the warrant.

After the shooting, the documents allege that Carter collected his money, posed with it in a selfie video and said, "Just another day at the office."

The warrant had been sealed since earlier this month after police took Carter into custody but were still seeking Martinez, according to the paper. 

Martinez has a 22-page rap sheet in Florida including convictions for domestic violence, theft and selling a firearm with an altered serial number, records show. Several of them involved Jones as a victim, including a pending robbery case, as well as assault charges that had been dropped.

Carter’s rap sheet is almost twice as long, and includes numerous felony convictions, including on firearms and weapons charges, burglaries and grand theft. 

Robinson’s attorney told the Herald that his client had been in custody "well before" the slaying and that he "had nothing to do with it."

But investigators, in the warrant, reportedly said they learned of the plot in part through recordings of prison phone calls, involving the three suspects another man, Kelly Nelson, who had dated Martinez and allegedly assaulted Jones in a courthouse parking lot in 2020.

The CDC on Wednesday casually admitted some of the Covid nose swabs ended up in a lab for genomic sequencing analysis.

But don’t worry because only the virus will be used for the genomic sequencing analysis, the CDC said.

Many Americans were forced to take nose swabs processed with a PCR test in order to work, travel or get life-saving surgical procedures.

Now those swabs are being used by scientists to track Covid variants.

 

 

“Remember that COVID-19 nose swab test you took? What happened to the swab? If it was processed with a PCR test, there’s a 10% chance that it ended up in a lab for genomic sequencing analysis.” – the CDC said on Wednesday.

Not making headlines, Pfizer pulled its application for emergency-use authorization of its COVID-19 vaccine in India after the country’s pharmaceutical regulator’s demand for a local safety and immunogenicity study, Reuters reported.

Last year, India’s COVID-19 Subject Expert Committee (SEC) reviewed the data presented by Pfizer during a meeting. The committee did not recommend the Pfizer vaccine due to serious adverse events reported abroad and the companies’ lack of safety and immunogenicity studies in the Indian population.

The local trial is a standard procedure imposed in India when a new vaccine is available to determine its safety and generate an immune response in its citizens.

The decision would affect Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine distribution as it will not be available for purchase in India and China, two of the most populous countries in the world.

Unlike other companies conducting small studies in India for foreign-developed vaccines, Pfizer had sought an exception citing approvals it had received elsewhere based on trials done in countries such as the United States and Germany.

Indian health officials say they generally ask for so-called bridging trials to determine if a vaccine is safe and generates an immune response in its citizens. There are, however, provisions under India’s rules to waive such trials in certain conditions.

The U.S. company, which was the first drugmaker to seek emergency approval in India for its vaccine developed with Germany’s BioNTech, made the withdrawal decision after a meeting with India’s Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) on Wednesday.

The drug regulator said on its website its experts did not recommend the vaccine because of side effects reported abroad were still being investigated. It also said Pfizer had not proposed any plan to generate safety and immunogenicity data in India.

“Based on the deliberations at the meeting and our understanding of additional information that the regulator may need, the company has decided to withdraw its application at this time,” Pfizer said in a statement.

“Pfizer will continue to engage with the authority and re-submit its approval request with additional information as it becomes available in the near future.”

Pfizer had sought authorisation for its vaccine in India late last year, but the government in January approved two much cheaper shots – one from Oxford University/AstraZeneca and another developed in India by Bharat Biotech with the Indian Council of Medical Research.

Both companies had applied for approval of their vaccines after Pfizer, and their trials are ongoing in India. Local company Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd is running trials for Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine, which is expected to be approved this month or next.

It was previously reported that FDA won’t release information on Pfizer COVID vaccine trials for another 55 years. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has asked a federal judge for 55 years to review its data before releasing it to the public in its entirety. What are they hiding?

India has approved nine vaccines excluding Pfizer, three of which have been developed in India. It’s currently using only three vaccines, Covishield, Covaxin by Indian firm Bharat Biotech and Sputnik V.

On Monday Nate sadly reported from the hospital that he had pericarditis, swelling of the tissue surrounding the heart. The doctor told him it may be due to the COVID booster shot he had on Saturday.

The suspect charged in Monday’s targeted shooting of Louisville, Kentucky, mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg has been identified as an activist for civil rights and gun control. 

Quintez Brown, 21, was charged with attempted murder and four counts of wanton endangerment, the Louisville Metro Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital. 

Brown previously worked for the Louisville Courier Journal as an intern and an editorial columnist, according to the newspaper. In December, Brown shared a short campaign video on Twitter announcing that he was running to represent District 5 for Louisville’s Metro Council in 2022. His writing advocates for the ideals of communism, socialism, liberation and has criticized "gun-loving" Republicans. 

As a freshman in college, Brown also reportedly was selected to meet former President Obama. 

LOUISVILLE MAYORAL CANDIDATE CRAIG GREENBERG TARGETED IN SHOOTING, POLICE SAY

Greenberg is a Democrat, and police have not provided details about the possible motive for the shooting. 

The Louisville Metro Police Department responded around 10:15 a.m. Monday after multiple shots were fired at Greenberg’s campaign headquarters in Butchertown. Investigators say Greenberg was not struck and no one else was injured.

Police said an article of clothing Greenberg was wearing was struck, and the candidate said his sweater was grazed by a bullet. Greenberg said the suspect had walked into the campaign office, pulled out a gun, "aimed directly at me and began shooting." 

"Today is not a day for politics, but it’s not lost on me that the violence my staff and I experienced today is far too common in our city," Greenberg said, also thanking the Louisville Metro Police. "Too many Louisville families have experienced the trauma of gun violence. Too many aren't as blessed as me." 

The arrest report, obtained by Fox News, said a man later identified as Brown entered the building and fired a 9mm Glock handgun at Greenberg. He then fled the building. About 10 minutes later, officers located a man matching the suspect description less than a half-mile away. He was found carrying a loaded 9mm magazine in his pants pocket and was taken into custody, the arrest report says. 

Surveillance video reportedly captured the incident.

Brown is a civil rights activist who reportedly participated in 2020 racial justice demonstrations. 

In his Twitter bio, he says, "We have one scientific and correct solution, Pan-Africanism: the total liberation and unification of Africa under scientific socialism." 

In a Feb. 1 post on Instagram, Brown, using the handle "tez4liberation," shared a post celebrating "Black Radical Month" and a list of names that included convicted cop killer Assata Shakur. 

Last month, Brown published a piece on Medium.com on Jan. 10 titled, "A Revolutionary Love Letter."

"During our short stay on this glorious planet we all have been collectively dehumanized and reduced to political talking points — Black, white, liberal, conservative, Christian, criminal, boss, worker, activist, etc.," Brown wrote in the letter. "Our sick, manipulated brethren will weaponize common sense and tell us to ‘face to facts’ — as if facts are something outside of us as if life were something we encounter as foreigners*. They will tell us that communism and collectivism has never and will never work and refuse to even explore these "childish" (or inferior) ideas." 

Screenshots shared online show Brown wrote one piece for the Courier-Journal published on July 2, 2019, titled, "Kentucky’s concealed carry law shows your life doesn’t matter to gun-loving Republicans." 

As a freshman political science major at University of Louisville, Brown was one of 22 students in the country invited to the inaugural national gathering of the Obama Foundation’s My Brother’s Keeper Alliance that supports boys and young men of color. He traveled to Oakland, California, and was quoted as saying he had the opportunity to shake hands with Obama himself during a two-day workshop. 

In 2018, Brown was featured in an MSNBC segment covering students participating in "March For Our Lives" protests in Washington, D.C., demanding stricter gun laws. 

The 17-year-old president of the Black Student Union at duPont Manual High School in Louisville at the time, Brown sat down with MSNBC host Joy Reid in the nation’s capital. 

Addressing Kentucky Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell, who was the Senate majority leader at the time, Brown said students want Congress to act on guns, "and if you’re not going to give us that, then we’re going to get everyone out here to vote, and we’re going to vote you out of office." 

"Get rid of assault rifles," Brown said. 

Brown also made headlines last summer when his family reported him missing. He was found safe on July 1, about two weeks after vanishing, and his family subsequently asked for privacy and patience "while we tend to the most immediate need, which is Quintez's physical, mental and spiritual needs."

The Courier Journal reported that Brown was an MLK scholar at the University of Louisville, a former columnist for the student newspaper, the Cardinal, and founded From Fields to Arena, a group committed to providing political education and violence prevention training to youths in hip hop and athletics.

Super Bowl halftime star Snoop Dogg recently collaborated in a violent new anti-cop rap song.

The NFL thinks that Snoop Dog is a good role model for today’s youth.  They showed this by inviting him to be part of yesterday’s halftime show at the Super Bowl.  We wrote about Snoop Dog being invited on the halftime show despite having fired a gun at Trump’s head in a video a couple of years ago.

Snoop Dog is very busy but the stuff he produces is horrible.  The Washington Times notes:

Snoop Dogg has never been bigger: The iconic California rapper is an in-demand pitchman for everything from beer to chips to burgers. He pops up on NFL football broadcasts and guest stars in movies like “The Addams Family.” On Wednesday, he became the new owner of Death Row Records, the label that three decades ago launched his career.

But when the 50-year-old musician-mogul steps into the biggest spotlight of his career Sunday as the headliner for the Super Bowl halftime show, some viewers may be changing the channel in protest.

In January, Snoop Dogg released an anti-police rap single, “Police,” with rapper J5 Slap and two other hip-hop artists that features incendiary lyrics, including the following intro (delivered not by Snoop Dogg, but by one of his collaborators):

“All you n***** out there
Take your guns that you using to shoot each other
And start shooting these b**** a** motherf******* police
That’ll impress a motherf******* n**** like me, the crooked motherf******
‘Cause these police getting way too motherf****** outta line.”

The NFL thinks for some reason that promoting individuals who produce material shooting the President and promoting murdering the police is good for the youth of America watching their premier event, the Super Bowl.
