Princess Kate apologises and takes blame for editing photo
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's camp have been branded "hypocrites" after it was revealed that one of their most memorable photos was also edited.
Kate Middleton has been embroiled in a Mother's Day picture scandal after allegations of digital manipulation as several misedits were identified.
The Princess of Wales publicly apologised
for the "confusion" caused by her altering of the family photo, but now
the Sussexes have also been called out for their own editing.
Earlier today, sources close to Harry and Meghan said they believe the couple would be "annihilated" for doctoring their snaps.
And that's exactly what is now happening after their photographer pal claimed the picture they sent out to announce the Princess Lilibet pregnancy was not completely true.

Misan
Harriman, an Oscar-nominated film director and photographer who
captured the intimate moment, described the "virtual shooting" process.
On the Private Passions podcast on BBC
Radio 3, he was asked by the interviewer: "They weren’t actually under a
willow tree, but they were lying outside in a meadow, weren’t they,
Harry and Meghan, when you took the photograph of them?"
Harriman,
who has captured many intimate family moments between the pair and
their children, replied: "Hmm, yeah," before adding: "It really was a
particularly joyous image to celebrate life itself."
He also said: "It's amazing what you can do with technology."

This has not gone down well with royal expert Angela Levin, who branded the couple's camp as "hypocrites"
Levin told The Sun: "A tree was doctored in their photograph to create a special backdrop so how dare their camp say anything about Catherine's?'"
This came after the Sussex's camp claimed Kate's blunder wasn't "a mistake Meghan would ever make".
The
insiders told Page Six: "If Harry and Meghan had ever encountered the
same issue they would have been annihilated. The same rules do not apply
to both couples."
Speaking of Meghan, the source added that she
would not commit the same mistake as she has "a keen eye and freakish
attention to detail".
