REPORT: Secret Service Resources Were Diverted to Jill Biden’s Saturday Campaign Event in Pittsburgh and Away from Trump’s – Many Agents Assigned to Trump were Temporary Replacements

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump was nearly assassinated Saturday night during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, by a 20-year-old Democrat donor named Thomas Matthew Crooks.

Trump immediately grabbed his neck after being shot while bleeding profusely from his ear. Video recordings of the scene also show Trump ducking down immediately after the initial gunshots were heard.

Secret Service agents promptly shielded Trump and guided him away from further harm. Despite being injured, a defiant Trump raised his fist and yelled “Fight!” multiple times toward the crowd.

Now, Susan Crabtree of Real Clear Politics has revealed more infuriating details about that fateful day. It turns out the Secret Service decided to shift critical resources to guard Jill Biden’s campaign event in Pittsburgh and away from the 45th President’s rally. Both were held on Saturday

Two sources told her this was because they were following the agency’s protocol of treating Trump as a former president. This is despite the fact this “former president” is the frontrunner to become the next president of the United States and has the largest political following in the country.

She also poses a critical question: who decided to divert these resources to Dr. Jill’s paltry event?

Secret Services resources were diverted to Jill Biden’s event and away from Trump’s because they followed agency protocol applying to Trump as a former president, according to two sources within the Secret Service community. There were also many supplemental agents from different field officers (not Trump’s regular detail) providing security at the rally because Trump’s regular detail has been overworked (some working 7 days straight), and only two counter-snipers.

But Trump is not just a former president — he is the first in modern history to have run for president again — and he has been the focus of several prosecutions and controversies (understatement intentional).

Who made the decision to divert the resources to Jill Biden’s event?

Crabtree also noted that Trump’s detail was so overworked that several agents assigned Saturday were TEMPORARY replacements from multiple field offices. Again, Trump was treated as just some random “former president.”

Trump’s usual protective Secret Service detail was worked so hard (working 7 days a week with no days off) that many of agents assigned Saturday were temporary replacements from different field offices.

This is not the usual protocol for sitting presidents and vice presidents but “typical” for former presidents, (although no former presidents have run again in modern history.)

“Trump has a permanent detail, however it’s much smaller in the amount of bodies,” the source said. “His detail has been worked so hard with all the travel that they’re working 7 days a week with shift changes. so HQ sends in temp agents to supplement – not a good scenario. Mission Failure, IMHO.”

Biden’s FBI has announced that they believe the would-be assassin at former President Trump’s Pennsylvania rally on Saturday acted alone.

The statement comes despite the bureau’s inability to access data from the suspect’s cell phone, which has been sent to Quantico for further examination.

Kevin Rojek, FBI Special Agent in Charge Pittsburgh, said that the information currently available to the bureau suggests that there is no further public safety concern. However, he also noted that the investigation is still in its early stages, according to Fox News.

“We have not identified an ideology associated with the subject, but I want to remind everyone that we’re still very early in this investigation,” Rojek said during a press conference on Sunday.

The FBI is actively engaging with the suspect’s friends and family in an effort to uncover whether anyone had prior knowledge of his plans. According to the AP, the FBI was investigating the shooting as a potential act of domestic terrorism.

FBI released the following statement Sunday:

The FBI is investigating the shooting incident at the July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, which resulted in one victim’s death and injuries to former President Trump and other spectators, as an assassination attempt and potential domestic terrorism.

While the investigation to date indicates the shooter acted alone, the FBI continues to conduct logical investigative activity to determine if there were any co-conspirators associated with this attack. At this time, there are no current public safety concerns.

The FBI has not identified a motive for the shooter’s actions, but we are working to determine the sequence of events and the shooter’s movements prior to the shooting, collecting and reviewing evidence, conducting interviews, and following up on all leads. We have also obtained the shooter’s telephone for examination.

The FBI has searched the shooter’s home and vehicle to collect additional evidence. Suspicious devices found at both locations have been rendered safe by bomb technicians and are being evaluated at the FBI Laboratory.

The firearm used in the shooting was purchased legally.

The shooter was not known to the FBI prior to this incident.

The FBI has obtained Crooks’ cell phone.

The suspect’s cell phone, which could hold vital clues to understanding the motivations behind the attack, has been transported to the FBI’s forensic lab in Quantico. However, the bureau has failed to access any data so far.

Laura Ingraham, on her prime-time show, said, “The FBI is telling Fox they believe the shooter acted alone. We’re also learning that they can’t get into his cell phone. They have it at Quantico, but haven’t been able to get any data out of it.”

Staffer of Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson Fired After Suggesting Trump’s Assailant Should ‘Have Taken Shooting Lessons to Not Miss Next Time’

A staffer for Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi was fired following her vile remarks, in which she stated she hoped Thomas Crooks, who targeted former President Donald Trump, ‘should have taken shooting lessons so he wouldn’t miss next time.’

Jacqueline Marsaw took to Facebook on Saturday evening to express her thoughts on the incident where Trump was nearly assassinated during a rally in Pennsylvania.

“I don’t condone violence but please get you some shooting lessons so you don’t miss next time ooops that wasn’t me talking,” Marsaw wrote.

In another post, Marsaw wrote, “That’s what your speech got you!!”

By Sunday morning, all of Marsaw’s posts had been deleted. When questioned by the Natchez Democrat, she said, “I got overwhelmed in the moment,” and added, “I am a diehard Democrat.”

Marsaw removed her posts upon instruction from a manager on Thompson’s team. She insisted her post was intended for its comic value and not to be taken seriously.

On the same day, Thompson confirmed to Fox News that he fired Marsaw.

“I was made aware of a post made by a staff member and she is no longer in my employment,” Thompson said.

Her boss, Rep. Thompson shed crocodile tears on X in response to Trump’s brush with death with a canned statement on X thanking law enforcement and offering his “thoughts and prayers.”

“There is no room in American democracy for political violence,” Thompson wrote. “I am grateful for law enforcement’s fast response to this incident.”

“I am glad the former President is safe, and my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved,” he added.

Ironically, Thompson authored a bill to remove Trump’s Secret Service protection after being convicted on bogus criminal charges in federal and state courts.

Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson introduced a resolution that would terminate Trump’s Secret Service protection. The legislation dubbed the “Denying Infinite Security and Government Resources Allocated toward Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable (DISGRACED) Former Protectees Act would apply to all Secret Service protectees convicted and sentenced under felony charges.

“The DISGRACED Former Protectees Act would terminate Secret Service protection for individuals who otherwise qualify for it upon sentencing following conviction for a Federal or State felony,” the announcement said.

The Hollywood Reporter wrote about DeLaria’s request for Joe Biden to kill President Trump, saying that she “uploaded an intense Instagram speech calling on President Joe Biden to take advantage of the Supreme Court’s newly defined executive immunity rules and assassinate Donald Trump.”

The Hollywood Reporter continued, “DeLaria posted the video Monday in the wake of the Supreme Court ruling the former president is immune from prosecution for any “official acts” while in office. The ruling has led to speculation that a president could, in theory, assassinate a political rival and then call it an “official” act. Well, that’s what DeLaria rather provocatively called on Biden to do and likened the assassination to preemptively killing Adolf Hitler before World War II.

DeLaria isn’t the only unhinged leftist who wants to see President Trump assassinated. Libs of TikTok shared a video compilation of some very sick young people who expressed their anger at the shooter for not killing President Trump at his Pennsylvania rally on Saturday evening.

This isn’t the first time the “funny” actress publicly threatened someone who disagreed with her with violence. In 2016, she made the news with a violent Instagram post:

The “Orange Is the New Black” actress shared a Leonard Bernstein quote on Instagram about responding to violence through music.

She captioned the quote by suggesting a different response to violence, writing, “Or pick up a baseball bat and take out every f–king republican and independent I see. #f–ktrump #f–ktheGOP #f–kstraightwhiteamerica #f–kyourprivilege.”

Now his beloved wife and former First Lady Melania Trump has weighed in with a powerful statement regarding the evil attack. She opened by expressing her sympathy toward the other families and Americans nationwide.

“I am thinking of you, now, my fellow Americans,” Melania continued. “We have always been a unique union. America, the fabric of our gentle nation is tattered, but our courage and common sense must ascend and bring us back together as one.”

“To the families of the innocent victims who are now suffering from this heinous act, I humbly offer my sincerest sympathy,” she said. “Your need to summon your inner strength for such a terrible reason saddens me.”

She then revealed what went through her mind when Trump was struck in the ear by a bullet, inches away from her brain, and thanked those who saved her husband.

“When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and Barron’s life, were on the brink of devastating change. I am grateful to the brave secret service agents and law enforcement officials who risked their own lives to protect my husband,” Melania wrote.

She described Crooks as “a monster who recognized my husband as an inhuman political machine” who attempted to “ring out Donald’s passion — his laughter, ingenuity, love of music, and inspiration.”

Melania then warned about America’s “personal, structural, and life commitment” until death and urged Americans to “ascend above the hate, the vitriol, and the simple-minded ideas that ignite violence.”

“We all want a world where respect is paramount, family is first, and love transcends. We can realize this world again,” she added. “Each of us demand to get it back. We must insist that respect fills the cornerstone of our relationships, again.”

Investigative reporter Laura Loomer has uncovered a BlackRock ad from 2023 that appears to feature Thomas Matthew Crooks, the 20-year-old shooter who tried assassinating President Donald Trump at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday evening.

BlackRock has deep ties to Biden, with many former executives and employees being hired to fill his administration.

The BlackRock ad was filmed at Bethel Park High School, which Crooks attended.

Loomer posted additional information about the ad in a subsequent post on X.

In a strange twist, Joe Biden’s longtime advisor, Michael C. Donilon, is the brother of Thomas E. Donilon, the chairman of the BlackRock Investment Institute, the firm’s global think tank.

Along with shooting Trump, Crooks also fatally shot an attendee of the rally and critically injured two others.

Crooks was shot and killed by a counter sniper just moments after he shot the former president in the ear.
