Veteran Whose Team Holds World Record for Long-Range Sniper Shots Claims Thomas Matthew Crooks May Have Had Inside Help

Dallas Alexander, a veteran sniper whose team holds the world record
for the longest confirmed sniper kill, has suggested that Thomas Matthew
Crooks, the 20-year-old who attempted to assassinate former President
Donald Trump at a rally on Saturday night, may have had inside help.
Alexander, who spent 14 years in a sniper team for the Canadian
military providing close protection for major world leaders including
the Canadian Prime Minister, shared his views in an Instagram post.
“I’m a retired sniper so because I’ve been asked so many times here’s
my opinion on the attempted assassination of former President Donald
Trump,” he began, before delving into his analysis of the assassination
attempt.
Having served in a tier one special operations unit called JTF2,
Alexander is no stranger to high-stakes security scenarios. His
experience includes providing security for VIPs in dangerous countries
like Iraq and Afghanistan.
“I spent just about 17 years in the military, 14 of which, just about
14 of which we’re at a tier one special operations unit called JTF2.
Our sniper team has the world record for the longest confirmed sniper
kill. A huge part of our job while I was there and while I was a sniper
was doing close protection for VIPs up to and including the Prime
Minister, when he would go to dangerous countries like Iraq or
Afghanistan, we would be in charge of that security,” said Alexander.
This background gives him unique insights into the layout and
security measures typically involved in protecting high-profile
individuals such as former President Trump.

Alexander expressed his belief that the shooter must have had
assistance from within an agency, organization, or even the government.
He argued that it would be impossible for someone to get onto a rooftop
with a gun during broad daylight while a president was speaking without
assistance.
“I’m very familiar with the layout of these types of things and what
the jobs should be. And yesterday, what happened, I have no doubt in my
mind that the shooter had help from somewhere within an agency, an
organization, or the government,” said Alexander.
“The second I saw that aerial photo of what they were saying
happened, it immediately made no sense to me. You cannot, in broad
daylight, get onto a rooftop within what looked like maybe a couple of
hundred yards. You can’t get into that position with a gun when there’s a
president speaking. It cannot be done. You don’t even need to be a
sniper to know that it’s the most f—king obvious thing, the most obvious
place in the whole world.”
“So something happened, and I’m not pointing fingers at anyone. It’s
too obvious that this guy had help getting there. So whether someone
turned a blind eye or it was strategically planned, I mean, it had to be
planned to a certain level because events like that and security like
that, it’s not a small thing. And that is the most obvious place to be.”

Alexander went on to question the narrative that Crooks managed to
sneak into position undetected. He argued that if someone had the skills
to bypass layers of security undetected, they would also have the
skills to make their shot count.
“I find it very strange that if the story that comes out is like,
‘Oh, yeah, he snuck into position and he got set up and nobody saw him.
It was an oversight, security, and overwatch, and we just made a
mistake. Sorry.”
“I think it’s also very weird that if that’s the case and someone is
good enough to stalk within 150-200 yards of one of the hardest to stalk
targets in the whole world, you’re not going to miss a shot. You’re not
going to miss that shot. If you have the skillset to get in there,
avoiding all these layers of security, then you will have the skillset
to hit that first round. It doesn’t make any sense.”
“My opinion is, and whether this comes out now or way later, is that
this guy had help from somewhere. I think that’s obviously concerning.
It’s going to be wild. I think it’s all you’re going to see for the next
little while. Anyway, just because I keep getting asked, that’s my two
cents.”
UPDATE: Investigation Into
Thomas Matthew Crooks’ Motive Still Unclear, Despite 70% Completion of
Phone Analysis, Law Enforcement Official Reports

In an ongoing investigation, the FBI continues to delve into the
motives behind Thomas Matthew Crooks’ attempted assassination of former
President Donald Trump. Despite having analyzed 70% of the suspect’s
cell phone data, the bureau has yet to uncover any significant leads.
As previously reported by The Gateway Pundit, the FBI obtained
Crooks’ cell phone, hoping it would provide crucial insights into his
motivations for the attack.
The suspect’s cell phone, which could hold
vital clues to understanding the motivations behind the attack, has been
transported to the FBI’s forensic lab in Quantico. However, the bureau
has failed to access any data so far.
Laura Ingraham, on her prime-time show, said, “The FBI is telling Fox
they believe the shooter acted alone. We’re also learning that they
can’t get into his cell phone. They have it at Quantico, but haven’t
been able to get any data out of it.”
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and X, raised questions about this
development via Twitter. “How do they know he acted alone if they can’t
get into his phone?” Musk wrote.
According to a new update from CNN, investigators are nearing completion of their analysis of Crooks' cell phone.
A law enforcement official revealed that they are about 70% done with
their examination but have yet to find any evidence pointing toward a
motive for the assassination attempt.
The official further added that investigators
are expected to start analyzing Crooks' laptop soon in hopes of finding
additional clues.
Crooks' parents have been cooperating with law
enforcement since the incident. According to the same official, they
reported that their son did not seem to have many friends and exhibited
no apparent political leanings.
Recall that The Gateway Pundit reported that Crooks was a registered Republican — but donated to Democrat organizations.
Many liberals registered to vote as Republicans during the primaries
to throw support behind Nikki Haley to sabotage Trump. Pennsylvania is a
closed primary state, meaning that independents and Democrats are not
eligible to vote for the Republican nominee unless they switch parties.
Crooks made several small donations to ActBlue and the Democrat National Committee.

that were assigned to protect President Trump yesterday when an
assassination attempt almost killed the President.
Americans expect more from our Secret Service. The agents protecting President Trump were a joke.

She didn’t go up to his shoulders. She was no protection and put the
President at risk.
Bars get the biggest bouncers to protect their establishments, to protect the President you get this clown show.

but “typical” for former presidents, (although no former presidents have
run again in modern history.)
“Trump has a permanent detail,
however it’s much smaller in the amount of bodies,” the source said.
“His detail has been worked so hard with all the travel that they’re
working 7 days a week with shift changes. so HQ sends in temp agents to
supplement – not a good scenario. Mission Failure, IMHO.”
I’m told
the only permanent agent from trump’s detail during the rally was SAIC
(Special Agent In Charge) Kern, two sources within the Secret Service
community told me. All others were temps. Pittsburgh USSS Field Office
had a Jill Biden visit and designated a lot of resources to her, the
source said. Also – the advance work only occurred one-day beforehand bc
of a lack of resources.

President Trump was nearly assassinated Saturday night during a
campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, by a 20-year-old Democrat donor
named Thomas Matthew Crooks.
Trump immediately grabbed his neck after being shot while bleeding profusely from his ear. Video recordings of the scene also show Trump ducking down immediately after the initial gunshots were heard.
Secret Service agents promptly shielded Trump and guided him away
from further harm. Despite being injured, a defiant Trump raised his
fist and yelled “Fight!” multiple times toward the crowd.
Now, Susan Crabtree of Real Clear Politics has revealed more
infuriating details about that fateful day. It turns out the Secret
Service decided to shift critical resources to guard Jill Biden’s
campaign event in Pittsburgh and away from the 45th President’s rally. Both were held on Saturday

agency’s protocol of treating Trump as a former president. This is
despite the fact this “former president” is the frontrunner to become
the next president of the United States and has the largest political
following in the country.
