Salem Radio Talk Show host Larry Elder responds to a Black Lives Matter chapter in Utah’s statement against the American flag.

The Black Lives Matter movement’s national arm is leading a boycott of "white companies" until New Year’s Day, encouraging supporters to help "end white-supremacist-capitalism" by visiting only Black-owned businesses during the holiday shopping season.

"White-supremacist-capitalism uses policing to protect profits and steal Black life," reads an Instagram post by the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation. "Skip the Black Friday sales and buy exclusively from Black-owned businesses."

"We’re dreaming of a #Blackxmas. That means no spending with white companies from 11/26/2021 – 01/01/2022," the BlackXmas website says. 

The organization also calls on supporters to "move your money out of white-corporate banks that finance our oppression and open accounts with Black-owned banks."

The boycott, promoted under the hashtag #BlackXmas and #BuyBlack, among others, started on Black Friday and ends on New Year’s Day.

"As BLMLA organizer, Jan Williams, reminds us, ‘Capitalism doesn’t love Black people,’" reads a blog post last week announcing the event. "In fact, white-supremacist-capitalism invented policing, initially as chattel-slavery-era ‘paddy rollers,’ in order to protect its interests and put targets on the backs of Black people."

"#BlackXmas challenges us to shake off the chains of consumerism and step fully into our own collective power, to build new traditions, and run an offense as well as a defense," the post continues. "Let’s harness our economic power to disrupt white-supremacist-capitalism and build Black community."

Black Lives Matter first launched the event in 2014 in response to the police-involved death John Crawford at a Walmart in Beavercreek, Ohio, the blog post states.

The website blackxmas.org provides maps showing people where they can find Black-owned stores, restaurants and banks in Los Angeles and Long Beach, California, and South Bend, Indiana.

After attacking Thanksgiving, Black Lives Matter has now set their sights on Christmas for the seventh year in a row.

The organization tweeted from their official Twitter account that for seven years they have been attempting to show “connections between white-supremacist-capitalism & police violence.”

 

 

The tweet linked to a LA Sentinel article by BLM activist and professor of Pan-African Studies at Cal State Los Angeles, Melina Abdullah, titled “#BlackXmas: Visioning Beyond the Weight of the Moment.”

Abdullah spent a lengthy paragraph whining about the verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse case and “witnessing support for Black Lives Matter wane among white folks.”

“These hits can make it seem as if the system of white-supremacist-capitalism has won and is undefeatable,” she moaned.

Eventually, at the end of the article, she got to her point — politicize Christmas.

“For the last seven years, Black Lives Matter has been challenging people to ‘dream of a Black Xmas,’ to intentionally use our resources to: #BuildBlack (invest in Black-led, Black-serving organizations), #BuyBlack (spend exclusively with Black-owned businesses from Black Friday through New Year), and #BankBlack (move our money from white corporate banks to Black-owned ones).”

“In 2020, #BlackXmas expanded to a nationwide campaign, with a website, blackxmas.org, that provides a listing of organizations to support and businesses to shop. #BlackXmas is about not simply struggling against the systems that enable Rittenhouse, McMichaels, Schwartzman, Walmart, racist policing, violence, and exploitation, but fighting on our terms. #BlackXmas challenges us to shake off the chains of consumerism and step fully into our own collective power, to build new traditions, and run an offense as well as a defense,” Abdullah continued. “#BlackXmas is about being self-determined and felling existing structures by building new, and more viable, beneficial ones…in the names of our mightiest and most righteous warrior Ancestors, in the names of those stolen by police violence, in honor of our community, and as a commitment to the generations to come.”

Bryan Adams Tests Positive For Covid Again, Goes To Hospital In Italy

Bryan Adams has tested positive for Covid-19, the Canadian rock star wrote on Instagram Thursday.

“Here I am, just arrived in Milano, and I’ve tested positive for the second time in a month for Covid. So it’s off to the hospital for me. Thanks for all your support,” he said next to pictures of him at the Milan Malpensa airport and in an ambulance. His condition is unknown.

Adams also tested positive Oct. 30 when he had to pull out from his scheduled appearance at Tina Turner’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony where he was to perform a medley of songs including “It’s Only Love,” which is a duet between Adams and Turner from his 1984 album.

A rep for Adams at the time said that the musician is fully vaccinated and showed no symptoms.

It is unclear whether the latest positive test is a result of so-called shedding of the coronavirus, which results in those affected continuing to test positive for a long time beyond the period when they are contagious.

Adams, who is also a photographer, is in Italy to promote Pirelli’s 2022 calendar, for which he shot fellow musicians Cher, Grimes, Jennifer Hudson, Normani, Rita Ora, Bohan Phoenix, Iggy Pop, St. Vincent, Kali Uchis, and Saweetie.

Adams was scheduled to appear at in-person press events Sunday and Monday. It is unclear whether he would be able to attend.

UK Raises Alarm Over New COVID Variant Which Could Beat Vaccines

Britain on Thursday said it was concerned by a newly identified coronavirus variant spreading in South Africa that might make vaccines less effective and imperil progress made across the world in fighting the pandemic.

The UK Health Security Agency said that the variant - called B.1.1.529 - has a spike protein that was dramatically different to the one in the original coronavirus that COVID-19 vaccines are based on.

Officials characterize the variant, which has double the number of mutations as the currently dominant Delta variant, as the "worst one yet."

 

It was only first identified at the start of the week but Britain rushed to introduce travel restrictions on South Africa and five neighboring countries, acting much more swiftly than with previous variants.

"What we do know is there's a significant number of mutations, perhaps double the number of mutations that we have seen in the Delta variant," Health Secretary Sajid Javid told broadcasters.

"And that would suggest that it may well be more transmissible and the current vaccines that we have may well be less effective."

Britain announced it was temporarily banning flights from South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Eswatini from 1200 GMT on Friday and returning British travelers from those destinations would have to quarantine.

Javid said that more data was needed but the travel restrictions were necessary as a precaution, as scientists said lab studies were needed to assess the likelihood of the mutations resulting in greatly reduced vaccine efficacy.

Officials have advised the government on the need to act swiftly and pre-emptively in case the concerns over the impact of variant are borne out, even though it could take weeks to generate all the information needed about its characteristics.

Earlier on Thursday, South African scientists said they had detected the new COVID-19 variant in small numbers and were working to understand its potential implications.

 

The variant has also been found in Botswana and Hong Kong, but the UK Health Security Agency said that no cases of the variant had been detected in Britain.

“Early evidence from genomic surveillance in South Africa suggests that B.1.1.529 is a serious cause for concern," Ewan Birney, Deputy Director General of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, said.

"We know that early action is far better than late action. It may turn out that this variant is not as large a threat as Alpha and Delta, but the potential consequences of not acting on the possibility it could be are serious."

Global authorities reacted with alarm on Friday to a new coronavirus variant detected in South Africa, with the EU, Britain and India among those announcing stricter border controls as scientists sought to determine if the mutation was vaccine-resistant.

Britain banned flights from South Africa and neighboring countries and asked British travelers returning from there to quarantine, while European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen said the EU also aimed to halt air travel from the region.

Scientists are still learning about the variant, identified this week, but the news pummeled global stocks and oil amid fears what new travel bans would do to already shaky economies across southern Africa.

The variant has a spike protein that is dramatically different to the one in the original coronavirus that COVID-19 vaccines are based on, the UK Health Security Agency said, raising fears about how current vaccines, successful against the more familiar delta variant, will fare.

"As scientists have described, (this is) the most significant variant they've encountered to date," British Transport Secretary Grant Shapps told Sky News.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is to hold a meeting in Geneva at 1100 GMT. Experts will discuss the risks it presents and if it should be designated as a variant of interest or variant of concern, WHO spokesperson Christian Lindmeier said.

Nearly 100 sequences of the variant have been reported, and early analysis shows it has "a large number of mutations" requiring further study, Lindmeier said.

One epidemiologist said it may be too late to tighten travel curbs.

"I think we have to recognize that most likely this virus is already in other places. And so if we shut the door now, it’s going to be probably too late," said Ben Cowling of the University of Hong Kong.

South Africa will speak to British authorities to try to get them to reconsider their ban, the foreign ministry in Pretoria said. "Our immediate concern is the damage that this decision will cause to both the tourism industries and businesses of both countries," Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor said in a statement.

'ACT STRONG, FAST AND NOW'

The variant, called B.1.1.529, has also been found in Botswana and Hong Kong, according to the UK Health Security Agency. Israel said it was barring its citizens from traveling to southern Africa after one case of the new strain was found in a traveler returning from Malawi.

"We are currently on the verge of a state of emergency, " Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said, according to a statement from his office.

"Our main principle is to act fast, strong and now."

European countries had already been expanding booster vaccinations and tightening curbs as the continent battles a fourth wave of the coronavirus, led by the delta variant, with many reporting record daily rises in cases.

The new wave and discovery of the new variant come as Europe and the United States enter winter, with more people gathering indoors in the run-up to Christmas, providing a breeding ground for infection.

Italy imposed an entry ban on people who have visited southern African states in the last 14 days, and Germany will declare South Africa a virus variant area, a health ministry source said.

India issued an advisory to all states to test and screen international travelers from South Africa and other "at risk" countries after easing some of its travel restrictions earlier this month.

Singapore's health ministry said it would also restrict arrivals from the region, and Japan tightened border controls for visitors from South Africa and five other African countries.

The coronavirus has swept the world in the two years since it was first identified in central China, infecting almost 260 million people and killing 5.4 million.

The World Health Organization is holding a meeting Friday to discuss the dramatic rise in COVID-19 cases in South Africa that has been blamed on a new variant of the virus.

Joe Phaahla, South Africa’s minister of health, identified the new variant as B.1.1.529, and said it seems highly contagious among young people.

The BBC reported that the new variant seems to be the most heavily mutated so far in the outbreak. James Gallagher, the health correspondent, wrote that one scientist described the variant as "horrific." He said the meeting of the WHO will likely result in the variant receiving a Greek code-name, like the delta variant.

"This variant did surprise us," Tulio de Oliveira, the director of the Center for South Africa’s Epidemic Response and Innovation, told the news outlet. Nature magazine reported that the variant was first reported in Botswana earlier this month. The report said scientists are trying to determine if the variant can somehow evade the immune response. One researcher in Johannesburg said, "We’re flying at warp speed.

Aris Katzourakis, an expert at virus evolution at the University of Oxford, said, "A burning question is does it reduce vaccine effectiveness because it has so many changes."

The British government announced that it was banning flights from South Africa and five other southern African countries effective at noon (1200GMT) on Friday, and that anyone who had recently arrived from those countries would be asked to take a coronavirus test.

U.K. Health Secretary Sajid Javid said there were concerns the new variant "may be more transmissible" than the dominant delta strain, and "the vaccines that we currently have may be less effective" against it.

Grant Shapps, the British transportation secretary, called the move essential, according to Reuters. He said the spike protein was "dramatically different" from the virus that the vaccines were designed to counter.

The Israeli Health Ministry says it has detected the country's first case of a new coronavirus variant in a traveler who returned from Malawi. Naftali Bennett, the prime minister, said the country is close to declaring a state of emergency over the variant.

The discovery of at least 60 voter registration applications for people who were dead or did not authorize them has led to the arrest of two Jacksonville men, the State Attorney's Office said.

Devin Deangelo King was arrested on Nov. 3 and Jordan Rayeshaun Daniels on Nov. 17 on charges of criminal use of personal identification information, jail records show. Both are 33.

Both the State Attorney's Office and Supervisor of Elections Mike Hogan said the motive doesn't appear to be political but for financial gain.

"This was a group working with what we call a third-party organization," Hogan said. "... We did not see anything political about it. It was, I think, people who were greedy. There's an incentive there to get as many as you can in."

The discovery also does not indicate any problem with Duval County's voting system, he said. His staff noticed the forms — some of the thousands submitted by many groups that do voter registration, change of party affiliation or addresses — did not look right.

"It just shows the diligence of the people who are working through this process to make sure that everything is right, not just the accuracy of the vote count, but the validity of our voter roll," Hogan said. "You have to be diligent to make sure you keep accurate records, and this is proof that we can find and eliminate it."

How the scheme was determined

The arrests follow a joint investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and State Attorney’s Office into identity theft.

Investigators initially met Aug. 19 with the elections office to review inconsistencies on a large number of recently turned-in voter registration applications, the State Attorney's Office said. Such forms contain personal identification information such as name, date of birth and driver’s license numbers.

The inconsistencies included signatures that did not match, plus personal identification information that was not correct. A review showed they had been initialed by two men, the State Attorney's Office said.

The investigators contacted numerous people listed on the forms. They determined several applications associated with Daniels and King were falsified, the State Attorney's Office said.

Hogan did not know which database might have been used to find the names inscribed on the registration forms, saying there are "so many" out there that can contain that information.

Hogan is advising registered voters to check the status of their registration to ensure all information is up to date and accurate, saying the security of voter registration and elections is a serious matter, and voters must be able to trust the process.

Registered voters who find irregularities with their registration information should contact the Supervisor of Elections Office at (904) 255-8683.

The arrests were announced just days before a Dec. 7 special election to fill the City Council At-Large Group 3 seat left vacant by the recent death of Tommy Hazouri.

If convicted, King and Daniels would each face a minimum mandatory sentence of 10 years in prison, the State Attorney's Office said.

The Catholic University of America has paintings of George Floyd as Jesus hanging outside of the university chapel in the campus ministry office and inside its law school.

Catholic University appeared to shrug off responsibility for the painting Monday, telling The Daily Signal that artist Kelly Latimore’s painting “Mama” depicts “the Virgin Mary supporting the body of the dead Christ”—although the artist has indicated repeatedly that his painting depicts both Floyd and Jesus.

“You can identify Jesus by the marks in the halo,” said Karna Lozoya, vice president for university communications. Lozoya would not further address the matter with The Daily Signal.

“The icon has no place at The Catholic University of America; it is blasphemous and an offense to the Catholic faith, but it is not surprising at all that it was put there,” a junior at Catholic University told The Daily Signal in an email. “It is just another symptom of the liberalization and secularization of our campus.”

The suspect Darrell Brooks is a sex offender and has a long record.The Chisholm attorneys let the Christmas parade killer back on the street last week.

Attorney Aaron Siri recently released the first batch of subpoenaed documents from the FDA on Pfizer’s COVID vaccine. The documents reveal that in the first few months of this year there were already 158,893 Adverse Events recording including 25,957 nervous system disorders.

Two months and one day after it was sued, and close to 3 months since it licensed Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine, the FDA released the first round of documents it reviewed before licensing this product.  The production consisted of 91 pdf pages, one xpt file, and one txt file. You can download them here.

While it is for the scientists to properly analyze, let me share one observation.  One of the documents produced is a Cumulative Analysis of Post-Authorization Adverse Event Reports of [the Vaccine] Received Through 28-Feb-2021, which is a mere 2 ½ months after the vaccine received emergency use authorization (EUA).  This document reflects adverse events following vaccination that have completed Pfizer’s “workflow cycle,” both in and outside the U.S., up to February 28, 2021.

Pfizer explains, on page 6, that “Due to the large numbers of spontaneous adverse event reports received for the product, [Pfizer] has prioritised the processing of serious cases…” and that Pfizer “has also taken a [sic] multiple actions to help alleviate the large increase of adverse event reports” including “increasing the number of data entry and case processing colleagues” and “has onboarded approximately [REDACTED] additional fulltime employees (FTEs).”  Query why it is proprietary to share how many people Pfizer had to hire to track all of the adverse events being reported shortly after launching its product.

As for the volume of reports, in the 2 ½ months following EUA, Pfizer received a total of 42,086 reports containing 158,893 “events.”  Most of these reports were from the U.S. and disproportionately involved women (29,914 vs. 9,182 provided by men) and those between 31 and 50 years old (13,886 vs 21,325 for all other age groups combined, with another 6,876 whose ages were unknown).  Also, 25,957 of the events were classified as “Nervous system disorders”

Waukesha suspect Darrell Brooks from Milwaukee

Multiple people were killed and injured after a person driving an SUV plowed through a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin on Sunday evening.

There are also reports of gunshots being fired by police at the SUV.

According to eyewitnesses, the terrorist mowed over several elderly women called “The Dancing Grannies.”

Following the attack, the local police scanner captured the name of the suspect who left his ID in the vehicle. (my comment... they don't catch the smart ones....LOL )

The suspect Darrell Brooks is a sex offender.

He has a long record.

Journalist Karol Markowicz confirmed his identity from his birth date.

His social media under the name “MathBoi Fly” was found by an intelligent investigator.

Brooks was not a fan of Donald Trump or Scott Walker.

As we reported earlier, Waukesha is a very conservative area in Wisconsin.

Trump won Waukesha in 2020 over Joe Biden 59.6% to 38.8%.

Brooks rapped about “F**k Donald Trump and F**k Pigs.”

And then he drove to the Waukesha Christmas parade and slaughtered innocent Americans.

Michael “Mike” Anthony Granata of Gilroy, California, who turned 56 this month, suffered an unexpected death after he received the Moderna vaccine.  He only took the vaccine due to pressure from his doctor.  He soon developed multisystem inflammation and multisystem failure that even the medical professionals could not stop according to his obituary.

Michael started to feel ill three days after he received the Moderna vaccine on August 17.  He was in ICU for several weeks and stabbed with needles up to 24 times a day for those several weeks, while also receiving 6 or 7 IVs at the same time (continuously). He described it as constant torture.

Many nurses and other staff have urged him and his wife to share their stories and to get the truth out to the public regarding the risk of taking the clinical trial vaccine.
In his obituary Michael shared his last message,

“I was nothing more than a covid vaccine human guinea pig and the doctors excited to participate in my fascinating progression unto death. I wished I would have never gotten vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, don’t do it unless you are ready to suffer and die.”

Michael, a longtime resident of Gilroy, passed away on November 1, 2021.  Never a kinder more gentle man did I know than my husband, Michael.

For those who knew Mike, you know that he was a good and honest man.  He was kind, considerate, and always polite.

Mike was adamant that people know what happened to him that caused his early and unexpected death.

Message from Mike: “Many nurses and non-nursing staff begged me and my wife to get the truth out to the public about the Covid-19 vaccines because the truth of deaths from the vaccine was being hidden within the medical profession. I promised I would get the message out.

So, here is my message: “I was afraid of getting the vaccine for fear that I might die. At the insistence of my doctor, I gave in to pressure to get vaccinated.  On August 17^th I received the Moderna vaccine and starting feeling ill three days later. I never recovered but continued to get worse. I developed multisystem inflammation and multisystem failure that medical professionals could not stop. My muscles disappeared as if to disintegrate. Mike did not deserve the pain and suffering he endured.  He was a good man and deserved better.

Mike was born in San Jose, California and moved to Gilroy at age one, where he resided for the last 55 years.

Mike attended Las Animas Elementary and Gilroy High schools.  He graduated from both San Jose State University and Santa Clara University earning several scholastic degrees.

Mike was an intelligent man but never flaunted it.  Mike chose to clothe himself in humility, kindness and gentleness every day, and preferred to work quietly behind the scenes doing good deeds and expecting nothing in return.

Michael was a licensed professional engineer and the owner of Engineering By Design, Design Engineering and Professional Engineering and Design. For the last 10+ years Michael worked in the Marine industry utilizing his IP for design and engineering that is known and used worldwide.

Michael could be seen twice daily walking his Golden Retriever around the neighborhood or up at Gavilan College for the last 20+ years in his jeans, t-shirt and hat.

Michael was proud to be a gear-head, a true car restoration enthusiast and tinkerer.

Mike loved spending time with his wife, his dog, his cars and playing the drums as he was quite a gifted musician.

Michael was preceded in death by his brothers Anthony Edward Granata and Salvatore Anthony Granata.

Michael is survived by his wife, Susie Granata of Gilroy, his parents Anthony and Elizabeth Granata of Morgan Hill; his sister Catherine Flowers (John) of Brentwood, CA; Nieces: Heather Trumbull (Christopher), Mindy Peterson (Ryan), Jeannene Brady, and Alyssa Granata, and great nephews and niece: Anthony and Trevor Peterson, and Karlie and Colin Trumbull.

Michael Granata burial was on November 15th.
