It is not surprising that Republican Lee Zeldin has the lead over crazy Kathy Hochul in the latest Trafalgar poll for New York Governor.
Hochul is a disaster for New York and her misguided and failed no-bail “Less is More” act signed into law in 2021 has led to yet another violent crime and this time, the death of a mother of three in front of her children.
The Less is More Act gives more leniency to parolees and removes reasons to put parolees back behind bars. According the the New York Post, “It removes technical parole violations like being late for an appointment, missing a curfew or finding alcohol or drugs in urine samples. And the act would speed up the timeframe to judicial review for any violations.”
In this recent incident, a suspect was arrested after the beating of his estranged wife, a mother of three, was caught on camera and posted to her Facebook. The suspect was released on no bail and, less than 24 hours later, gunned the mother down in front of her children.
A mom of three was executed in front of her kids less than 24 hours after her estranged husband was sprung from jail on no bail over a caught-on-camera beatdown she’d posted to her Facebook page in a desperate plea for help.
The shocking case — in Gov. Kathy Hochul’s western New York hometown — has sparked fresh outrage to New York’s no-cash-bail laws and to the governor and fellow Democrats for refusing to repeal them.
Adam Bennefield, 45, who has a prior conviction for kidnapping another ex at gunpoint, is now charged with shooting dead his 30-year-old wife, Keaira Bennefield.
The victim was taking her young children — ages 6 months to 9 years — to school on the morning of Oct. 5, when he ambushed her on a road and gunned her down, authorities said.
Bennefield was free to carry out the alleged murder after being released from custody a day earlier on only misdemeanor charges despite the horrific attack on his wife inside her home.
Tragic Keaira Bennefield had shared the sick footage of Bennefield allegedly punching, kicking and slapping her on Facebook in a cry for help less than a week before she was murdered.
Now, in the weeks since the grim slaying questions have continued to mount as to whether more could have been done to prevent Keaira’s demise.
The Post continues, “The mom posted the disturbing video, which was captured on surveillance cameras inside her home, later that evening with the harrowing message: ‘This is what this man dose [sic] to me but i’m always treated like i’m the abuser!’ The nearly eight-minute video allegedly showed Bennefield tackling his wife, pinning her down and savagely punching her repeatedly.”
Despite the brutal assault, because he only faced misdemeanor charges he was not allowed to be held under the New York State Penal Code bail law. The misdemeanors included third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
Less is More cost Keaira Bennefield and robbed three young children of their mother.
The rise in crime in New York, and Hochul’s failed leadership, will play a pivotal role in next week’s election.

Sadly, however, these flags were reported to the administration as offensive, and a representative for the administration came to forcibly remove them. When we asked for clarification on the grounds for their removal, we were told that no flags were to be hung on campus. Despite this, no one else who has a flag hung on campus has been told of this rule, and obviously no one else has had their flags forcibly removed in this fashion. We personally respect and love all people and think that you should be able to show support for ideologies you identify with. If the school has a rule that no flags can be affixed outside of a dorm room, that is perfectly reasonable, we just ask that this rule is applied to all parties equally.
In an Instagram post, Lucas expressed his disappointment that national pride is frowned upon in today’s society.
“The flags were hung out of love for our great country,” he wrote. “To support the police, troops, and firemen who have risked their lives just to provide our freedom and safety.”
“The flags represent freedom and anti-tyrannist government originating against the British. Our flags were forcefully removed, whilst other flags remain to fly. It is outrageous for the school to suppress my beliefs because they disagree with them. It is a shame that patriotism is shunned and being proud of one’s country is viewed as offensive. The problem of free speech censorship canceling anything contrary to the perceived status quo, strips individuals of their voice thus disabling the democracy this country was founded upon.”
Students at Trinity College were reportedly informed Monday through email that they are not permitted to hang items outside of their windows. However, they still allow other flags including the transgender flag to fly.
“We are writing to remind you of the Window and Screen Policy from the Residential Safety portion of the Student Handbook, as it relates to objects placed outside of windows in residential buildings. Regardless of the content, all items hanging or posted outside of your windows need to be removed and placed within your room immediately. In order to be fair and respectful of our entire community, we are asking that you please familiarize yourself with the Residential Safety Policies,” according to the email.
The Trinity College was proud to show its solidarity with the LGBTQ community by showing off a pride flag.

He was not a MAGA member; he did not support the "insurrection" of Jan. 6; and he was never even a Republican.
But David DePape was a known nudist activist who his ex-girlfriend says was also a progressive and mentally ill.
DePape, 42, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, elder abuse and burglary for having bludgeoned Paul Pelosi, 82, with a hammer, fracturing his skull.
DePape has been residing in a decrepit school bus that sits outside the Berkeley home of his ex-girlfriend, Oxane "Gypsy" Taub, also a pro-nudist activist
A two-decade resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, DePape was also known for his pro-nudity activism. He had picketed naked at protests against laws requiring people to be clothed in public.
Protesting such a reasonable law is not usually an activity of a Trump supporter.
Taub, the mother of DePape's three children, told the New York Post he has been suffering from mental illness.
"He is mentally ill. He has been mentally ill for a long time," she told ABC 7.
Taub, who currently is serving time in a California prison for abducting a teenage boy, said DePape had disappeared for over a year and then resurfaced recently.
"He thought he was Jesus," she told ABC 7.
"He was constantly paranoid, thinking people were after him. And it took a good year or two to get back to, you know, being halfway normal."
She also noted DePape's politics were not right-wing.
"Well, when I met him, he was only 20 years old, and he didn't have any experience in politics. And he was very much in alignment with my views, and I've always been very progressive," she said.
"This was not a random act," San Francisco Police Chief William Scott said. "This was intentional. And it's wrong."
But no definitive motive has been reported for this "intentional" crime, just a week from an earth-shaking midterm election.
"I wasn't surprised because another crazy story is coming from someone in that house," DePape's Berkeley neighbor Ryan La Coste told the N.Y. Post.
"They are always toxic and always up to something. They are always on the news and trying to be 'activists.' They always want to be in the spotlight."
Reporters on social media noted some shaky details in mainstream media's initial portrayal of Pelosi's attacker as a right-wing activist.
"Why did Paul Pelosi's alleged attacker, a nudist Green Party activist, go off the grid for years and then start posting Q rants just a few weeks ago?" Charlie Kirk tweeted Saturday.
Formal charges against DePape will be filed Monday, and his arraignment is expected Tuesday, according to the San Francisco district attorney's office.
SFPD Chief Scott told a Friday night news briefing that police detectives, assisted by FBI agents, had yet to determine what precipitated the home invasion.
The media and Speaker Pelosi were also quick to note DePape was shouting "Where is Nancy?" during the attack on her husband at their San Francisco home. Nancy Pelosi was in Washington, D.C.
In the search for a motive, attention turned to the suspect's alleged internet profile.
In recent posts on several websites, an internet user named "daviddepape" expressed support for former President Donald Trump and embraced the cult-like conspiracy theory QAnon.
The posts included references to "satanic pedophilia," antisemitic tropes and criticism of women, transgender people and censorship by tech companies.
Older messages promoted quartz crystals and hemp bracelets. Reuters could not confirm that the posts were created by the man arrested Friday.
Experts on extremism said the man who attacked Pelosi's husband could be an example of a growing trend they call "stochastic terrorism," in which sometimes-unstable individuals are inspired to violence by hate speech and scenarios they see online and hear echoed by public figures.
"This was clearly a targeted attack. The purpose was to locate and potentially harm the speaker of the House," said John Cohen, a former counterterrorism coordinator and head of intelligence at the Department of Homeland Security who is working with U.S. law enforcement agencies on the issue.
The San Francisco Chronicle posted a photo of a man it identified as DePape dancing at the 2013 wedding of two nudist activists in San Francisco, though he was clothed.
DePape, then a hemp jewelry maker who lived with the couple in Berkeley, was the best man, the newspaper reported.
The incident came a day after New York City police warned extremists could target politicians, political events and polling sites ahead of the midterm elections.
Newsmax host Rob Schmitt noted there are hints of midterm narrative deflection on the issue of crime and some hypocrisy in the fact Pelosi's daughter once suggested Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., deserved to be attacked by his neighbor.
That fact had resurfaced earlier this week — days before DePape's alleged attack — in the Democrats' attempt to flip the Senate seat of Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.
"The daughter of Nancy Pelosi celebrated that 2017 attack on Rand Paul, saying, 'Rand Paul's neighbor was right,'" Schmitt noted on Friday's "Rob Schmitt Tonight."
"Christine Pelosi apparently loves political violence. I wonder what she thinks of it being directed at her own family, though?"
Paul himself gave his condolences to Paul Pelosi, noting their family did not afford him the same respect.
"No one deserves to be assaulted," Paul tweeted Friday. "Unlike Nancy Pelosi's daughter who celebrated my assault, I condemn this attack and wish Mr. Pelosi a speedy recovery."
Earlier in the week, comments surfaced from Adm. Mike Franken, a Democrat opposing Iowa's Chuck Grassley as the Senate majority weighs in the balance next month.
"Wasn't Rand's neighbor more than a little in the right?" Franken tweeted Jan. 21, 2021, on Twitter, years after the attack on Paul.
Paul was the one who resurfaced those Franken remarks this week.
"Disgusting that Mike Franken would celebrate an assault (from behind) that resulted in 6 broken ribs, a damaged lung that had to be removed, and chronic pain," Paul tweeted Tuesday. "Advocacy for violence should disqualify Franken from holding any office."
But Franken did not back down, upping the ante on political division and violence, while spinning the Democrat narrative of the false claim Paul, a sitting U.S. senator, had sought to insurrect the government.
"I'm not going to be lectured to by an insurrectionist," Franken tweeted in response Wednesday to Paul.
Less than 48 hours later, DePape would allegedly bludgeoned the speaker's husband within inches of his life.

Another day, another violent attack on a subway train in the Democrat hellhole of New York City.
A 78-year-old white man was brutally beaten by two black people on a Manhattan subway train on Thursday
According to police, the victim, who was traveling southbound on the No. 1 train near 96th Street, asked a fellow traveler to turn down his loud music.
The man with the loud speaker, along with his female friend, responded by brutally beating the elderly passenger.
The victim, badly bruised with cuts on his face, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was given stiches in his head.

A duo beat a 78-year-old man aboard a Manhattan subway train Thursday after he asked them to lower the volume of their music, according to the NYPD.
In the music incident, the victim was on a southbound No. 1 train approaching the 96th Street station around 3:30 p.m. when he requested that a fellow straphanger turn down his speaker, officials said. The man with the speaker, as well as a female companion, responded by punching the man multiple times in the face, police said.
The victim got off the train at 96th Street and was brought by first responders to an area hospital for treatment of bruises and cuts to his face. He was listed in what authorities described as stable condition.
His assailants, meanwhile, stayed on the train. It’s believed that they ultimately exited at 34th Street – Penn Station, police said.
nvestigators on Thursday released cell phone photos taken of the suspects. The man is described as about 6-feet tall and 185 pounds, with an athletic build and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a graphic on the front, a red bandana, gray jeans, and white Nike sneakers, while carrying a multi-colored backpack.
The female suspect is described as having a medium build, long brown hair, and brown eyes. She wore black glasses, a black hooded jacket with a fur lining, a black t-shirt, orange sweatpants, and black sneakers.

A senior cheerleader at North Little Rock High School, Victoria Moody,18, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Fox16 reported.
Moody’s older sister, Brooke McCarty, claims that her sibling was in good health up until Sunday night, when their father, Brian Moody, took her to the hospital saying that she wasn’t feeling well.
According to her sister, Victoria’s untimely death was caused by a pulmonary embolism.
“She apparently had a pulmonary embolism that was just too far advanced to stop it,” said McCarthy.
According to Hopkins Medicine, a pulmonary embolism (PE) is a blood clot that develops in a blood vessel in the body (often in the leg). It then travels to a lung artery where it suddenly blocks blood flow.

The family of Moody says that she would have graduated this year, she was also on the High School Varsity Cheerleading and competition team.
McCarty says cheerleading was Moody’s entire world, she loved her teammates, coaches, and the sport.
“I just wish more than anything that she would be here, and I just don’t really understand how it happened, or why it happened,” said McCarthy.
She adds that her sister was and still is a wonderful person with a bright future.
“She was absolutely the best human being I knew. and I’m forever grateful for the 18 years that I got to be with her,” said McCarthy. “She was going to go to University of Arkansas or Mississippi State, she had gotten scholarships, and she got invited into the honors program.”

Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Pinkey Carr was suspended indefinitely
The Ohio Supreme Court suspended indefinitely and removed from office a Cleveland judge for alleged "unprecedented misconduct" over a two-year period that included "blatant and systematic disregard of due process, the law, court orders, and local rules."
Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Pinkey Carr, elected to the bench in 2011, "also was repeatedly dishonest, treated court staff and litigants disrespectfully, abused her power to issue arrest warrants and find individuals in contempt of court," according to statement from the Ohio court system.
In March 2021, Carr was charged with five counts of judicial misconduct. Carr violated rules governing the appropriate dress, order, and decorum for courtrooms.
"Her bench was littered with dolls, cups, novelty items, and junk," according to the Ohio Supreme Court. "She presided over her courtroom wearing tank tops, T-shirts – some with images or slogans, spandex shorts, and sneakers. She discussed with her staff and defendants a television show called "P-Valley" about a fictional Mississippi strip club."
"She also joked about accepting kickbacks in lieu of fines and having defendants give her and court staff items such as food, beverages, carpeting, or storage space in exchange for lenient sentences," the court added. "The Supreme Court’s opinion concluded that these actions undermined public confidence in the independence, integrity, and impartiality of the judiciary."
Of the alleged misconduct, Carr was also accused of ignoring a court order to reschedule cases during to onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. Carr continued to preside over her regular docket the next week.
For criminal defendants who did not appear, she ordered them to be arrested and set bonds ranging from $2,500 to $10,000. For defendants who were "brave enough," according to Carr, to appear in court despite the potential for exposure to the virus, she waived fines and court costs.
During the disciplinary process, Carr agreed to 583 statements of fact and misconduct stretching across 126 pages.
Among her ethics violations, the judge acknowledged that she often held hearings without a prosecutor present to avoid complying with the safeguards in state law – such as the requirements that a judge informs the accused of the nature of the charge, the identity of the complainant, the right to counsel, and the effect of different pleas.
The judge also falsified court journal entries by claiming that the prosecutor had amended charges or that she had held hearings to determine a defendant’s ability to pay fines or court costs.
She also used warrants and incarceration to force the payment of fines, creating a "modern-day debtors’ prison," resulting in at least five people spending time in jail.

A progressive member of the Seattle City Council who has been a vocal critic of law enforcement amid the "defund the police" movement is criticizing police for not sufficiently pursuing reports of multiple instances of feces being thrown into her yard.
Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant, a self-described socialist, sent a letter to police in Seattle this week claiming they are "failing to investigate" what she says are six separate instances of a politically motivated person throwing feces into her yard," KCPQ-TV reported.
"There is obviously a glaring inconsistency between this approach and the way in which former Mayor Durkan, after a peaceful Black Lives Matter protest was held a short distance from her mansion, was provided with a 24-hour stakeout for a full year," Sawant wrote in her letter, suggesting she deserved police protection as a result of the incidents. "As a socialist City Councilmember who has participated in Black Lives Matter protests, I am being told that my case of six threatening incidents involving human excrement doesn’t merit even a serious investigation, let alone protection."
The Seattle Police Department, where staffing has dropped to a 30-year low as officers left the force in droves amid the Defund the Police movement, asked the public for help catching the suspect this week by releasing photos of the individual.
"Friends of the victim were watching the home when the suspect threw a plastic bag, containing several individual bags of suspected human feces, into the yard," the police said without identifying Sawant as the victim. "The friends confronted the suspect and snapped multiple photos as he ran away. Witnesses described the suspect, pictured below, as an Asian man, approximately 5-foot 4-inches tall."
Sawant says she is planning to file a complaint against the police with the Office of Police Accountability.
Sawant was a leader of the charge to defund the police in Seattle over the last few years and proposed to slash the department's budget by $85 million in 2020, KIRO-TV reported. She was among the hundreds of protesters who occupied city hall in 2020 for about an hour, demanding then-Mayor Jenny Durkan resign and that the police department be defunded.
Sawant's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
In a statement, Seattle Police told KCPQ-TV that they take all crime incidents seriously.
"The department takes incidents involving public officials seriously, and investigators have canvassed for evidence, gathered information from witnesses and reviewed everything collected thus far," the police said. "At this time, the department has not found any evidence this case would meet the city or state standards for hate crime laws, but SPD will follow available leads should new information arise. The department encourages anyone with additional information about this case to contact police."

At around 2:40 p.m. on Friday, a 32-year-old man was pushed onto the subway tracks at the Wycoff Avenue and Myrtle Avenue station by an African-American male in an unprovoked attack.
The victim was not hit by the train and did not receive any injuries.

Last month a 21-year-old woman visiting New York City from St. Louis, Missouri was raped on a subway platform.
A 14-year-old boy was fatally stabbed on a New York City subway platform over the summer.

Speaking separately to the San Francisco Chronicle, Trudy Orlandi and Rosalind Cruz shared that they are not ethnically Native American and that they identify as "Spanish." Littlefeather, the sisters said, was born Marie Louise Cruz but changed her name after rediscovering what she purportedly believed was her Native American heritage and becoming active in protests as a young woman.
Orlandi said, "It's a lie …My father was who he was. His family came from Mexico. And my dad was born in Oxnard."
Littlefeather, famously known for rejecting Marlon Brando's Best Actor award for "The Godfather" at the 1973 Academy Awards, passed away earlier this month. She died at the age of 75 when breast cancer metastasized in her lung.

Littlefeather was subjected to intense scrutiny for her actions on Brando's behalf and had shared in the past that the incident caused her to be "blacklisted" by Hollywood.
Cruz said of her sister's actions, "It is a fraud," before adding, "It's disgusting to the heritage of the tribal people. And it's just … insulting to my parents."
Both women say they were not invited to the funeral. Their predominant issue with Littlefeather's accounts, they recalled, was her recollection of an abusive childhood.
The sisters say it was difficult seeing her "being venerated as a saint" after her death, as they say their father, who Littlefeather claims was an abusive alcoholic, neither drank nor hurt them.

They allege that Littlefeather's story of an abusive father was actually a tale inspired by their paternal grandfather.
"My father was deaf and he had lost his hearing at 9 years old through meningitis," Cruz shared. "He was born into poverty. His father, George Cruz, was an alcoholic who was violent and used to beat him. And he was passed to foster homes and family. But my sister Sacheen took what happened to him."
"You’re not gonna be a Mexican American princess," Orlandi remarked. "You’re gonna be an American Indian princess. It was more prestigious to be an American Indian than it was to be Hispanic in her mind."
Her younger sister said, "Sacheen did not like herself. She didn’t like being Mexican. So, yes, it was better for her that way to play someone else …The best way that I could think of summing up my sister is that she created a fantasy … She lived in a fantasy, and she died in a fantasy."

The interview's veracity is being called into question due to the interview being done with Native American journalist and activist Jacqueline Keeler. Keeler is "known for co-creating the #NotYourMascot hashtag in 2013," per Deadline, which sparked the former NFL team known as the Washington Redskins to change their name.
Keeler has also culled together "a public list" of "non-Native people who I or other Native American people suspect or proved to have manufactured their Native identities for personal gain." She calls that list "Pretendians."
A representative for The Oscars did not immediately return Fox News Digitals' request for comment.

Joe Biden reportedly met with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney to discuss how a strategy to gin up public support for Democrats ahead of the midterm elections.
“It’s day 222 of being a girl. I am in Washington DC and I’m going to the White House to speak to the President of the United States of America,” Mulvaney gleamed in a video posted on TikTok on Friday.
“I get to sit down with Joe Biden and Now This News and I get to ask him a few questions surrounding trans issues in the United States and talk to him about my transition and I really just want to represent my community the best that I can,” the body dysphoria activist continued.
“I am ready to step up and show that trans people, we are not going anywhere and that trans kids, they deserve a fighting chance to be their true selves,” Mulvaney added.
