A man who wore a “Make America Great Again” hat to a bar got “sucker punched” by two people, who are now arrested.
Luke Lenzner says that while he and his wife were on a date at
Portland bar Growler's Taproom on Saturday, he was “mobbed” by an angry
group of patrons on the patio. “...People came from the inside out and
just circled me and my wife,” Lenzer told KPTV.
However, surveillance video depicting a near-empty bar after last call.
Lenzner said that two people, who police identified as Adebisi
Okuneye, 23, and Leopold Hauser, 22, attacked him. “Surrounding
me...pushing me. I’m just trying to through, trying to stop the person
from hitting me, taking my hat,” Lenzner told the station. “And then I
get sucker punched.”
When the Portland Police Department responded, Okuneye and Hauser had
already left, but because Lenzner had taken a photo of their license
plate, they were easily found. Police discovered the suspect’s gold van
parked a few blocks away and charged both with third-degree assault.

According to an affidavit of probable cause sent to Yahoo Lifestyle
by the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office, Lenzner’s wife
encouraged him to wear the MAGA hat to
“see how people treat him.” At the bar, Lenzner alleges that Okuneye
“got into his face.” When he pushed her away, Hauser punched him in the
face. Lenzner’s wife said that Okuneye attacked him as well.
However, according Hauser, his group gave dirty looks to Lenzner
because he “disagreed with the political statement of the hat.” The
tension caused Lenzner to allegedly say, “B*tch, do you like my hat?” On
the bar’s security camera, Lenzner points to his hat as he walks by the
suspects’ table.
Hauser claims that Lenzner pushed Okuneye, and he tried to separate them but “arms were flying everywhere.”
The Portland Police Department tells Yahoo Lifestyle that Lenzner had
injuries from the fight and that Okuneye and Hauser, whose relationship
to each other wasn’t clear, were booked into the Multnomah County
Detention Center.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — A former health care worker in Texas
convicted of sexually assaulting a nursing home patient who had dementia
has been sentenced to life in prison.
Anthony Mamboleo Nyakeo could have been sentenced to probation but
jurors on Thursday sided with prosecutors and sentenced him to life in
prison. His sentence came a day after the jury in Fort Worth convicted
him of aggravated sexual assault of an elderly or disabled person.
Prosecutors accused Nyakeo of raping the then-74-year-old woman in
January 2018, and said he was linked to the attack through DNA. The Star-Telegram reports that Nyakeo testified that somebody planted his DNA from a used condom in the body of the victim.
The woman died last year from Alzheimer's disease at age 75.
If there was a 17 year old or ANY age in my daughters closet... they would be glad to get out with all their teeth. Yep... I said it. NO boy should be in a 15 year olds closet. Black, white purple or green. ANY freaking color.
California parents charged with hate crime for kidnapping boy found hiding in teen daughter's closet, police say
The
parents of a 15-year-old California girl are being charged with a hate
crime after they allegedly kidnapped and abused their daughter's
boyfriend after they found him hiding in the home, according to police.
On
Thursday afternoon, the 17-year-old victim went to police to report
that he'd been held against his will, assaulted and threatened by three
people at a home in San Bruno, about 12 miles south of San Francisco,
according to a news release by the San Bruno Police.
The
victim was visiting the girl at her home when the family members
arrived around 2:30 a.m. that morning, police said. They then "became
irate and started assaulting" him, according to the release.

suspects, which include the girl's mother, Haydee Arguello, 46, her
stepfather, Wilfredo Amaya, 46, and her biological father, Luisandor
Suarez, 49, allegedly restrained the teen using rope, held him against
his will, threatened to kill him and assaulted him multiple times.
The
girl's parents also allegedly yelled racial slurs throughout the
attack, causing the teen, who is black, to believe his race "to be a
motivating factor in the attack," police said. All of the suspects are
of Hispanic descent, police said.
The
teen's older sisters, Belkys Gomez and Katherine Gomez, alleged that
the victim attacked their parents after they found him hiding in a
bedroom closet, which is why they restrained him.
"They were so scared because they found someone in the closet," Belkys Gomez told ABC San Francisco affiliate KGO. "They jumped because everyone was sleeping and this guy started kicking my stepfather and trying to kill him."

and kidnapping the teenage boy they found in their daughter's bedroom.
(KGO)Katherine Gomez told the station, "He
punched her and then my stepdad, of course, is not going to let anyone
hit his wife. They tried to stop him and he was acting very violent so
they grabbed a rope to try to tie him down and ask him why he was at the
house."
When asked by a KGO reporter whether their parents hurt
the victim, Katherine Gomez replied, "No, they didn't," adding that the
the accusations of racial slurs are "not true at all."
Neighbor Jorge Flores told KGO that he could hear the victim screaming in pain.
All
three suspects were charged with multiple felonies relating to
committing a hate crime, including kidnapping, assault with a deadly
weapon and criminal threats, according to police. They were arrested
Friday and are being held at the San Mateo County jail without bail,
online records show.
It is unclear whether they have retained attorneys.
Child Protective Services has taken custody of the 15-year-old, KGO reported.

A fight at a Delaware Chick-Fil-A drive-thru resulted in a pregnant woman getting kicked in the stomach by another patron, according to police.
Jada Blake, 19, of Newark, was waiting in line in the drive-thru of
the popular fast food restaurant in the town of Bear when another driver
attempted to drive in front of her. The incident took place on Saturday
afternoon.
According to Delaware State Police,
Blake accelerated her vehicle abruptly, and blocked the other vehicle
from moving forward. She then allegedly exited her vehicle and
confronted the other driver, and subsequently began hitting the pregnant
21-year-old woman in the head and face through the open car window. The
other woman exited her vehicle and fought with Blake, who then
intentionally kicked the victim in the abdomen.
When the fighting stopped, Blake returned to her car and resumed her
wait for drive-thru service, according to police. Responding troopers
located Blake while she was still in the drive-thru lane, and
apprehended her without incident.
Authorities say the pregnant female victim was transported to an area
hospital for evaluation, and is believed to only have suffered non-life
threatening injuries.
Blake was arrested and charged with second-degree assault,
second-degree reckless endangering, menacing, disorderly conduct,
careless driving, no proof of insurance and possession of marijuana.
After her arraignment, she was released on $5103.00 unsecured bail.
Yahoo reached out to Chick-Fil-A for comment, but did not yet receive a response.
I have thick skin.....you're just all mouth. Class before TRASH honey, and I'm ALL class and manors. Such a shame you're without both. No that was not nice, but what you said would have hurt someone else.
Georgia Mom Kills Two Adult Kids, Herself Days After Posting 'I Could Not Ask for Better Children'
Chris Harris,People1 hour 44 minutes ago
Police in Georgia are investigating what led a 58-year-old woman to
fatally shoot her two adult children before turning the gun on herself,
PEOPLE confirms.
Cobb County Police have identified the three people found dead
Wednesday inside a Vinings home as Dr. Marsha Edwards, her 20-year-old
daughter, Erin Edwards, and her 24-year-old son, Chris Edwards.
The bodies were found at around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, and police
allege Edwards killed her two kids and then herself — but still have no
idea why.
A statement from police indicates the mother died of “an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.”
According to local media, Edwards is the ex-wife of a well-known Atlanta surgeon, Dr. Christopher Edwards — the victims’ father.
WXIA-TV received a statement from the mourning dad, which reads, “Dr.
Christopher Edwards learned Wednesday of the death of his former wife,
Dr. Marsha Edwards, and his two adult children, Christopher Edwards, Jr.
and Erin Edwards.”
It continues: “Dr. Edwards, his extended family and friends are in a
state of grief and shock, and privacy of the family is paramount as
arrangements are being made.”
Marsha and Erin Edwards apparently returned from a trip to Italy
recently, and in one picture of her and her daughter, the mom wrote, “I
could not ask for better children.”

Disgraced Judge Lay in Wait to Kill Ex-Wife After She Dropped Off Kids: ‘Singular Mission to Murder’
Harriet Sokmensuer,People1 hour 38 minutes ago
A disgraced former Ohio judge who went to prison in 2014 for beating his then-wife has pleaded guilty to stabbing her to death in front of their children.
On Tuesday, former Cuyahoga County Judge Lance Mason pleaded guilty
to aggravated murder and other charges in the November 2018 death of his
ex-wife Aisha Fraser.
Mason faces life in prison without parole.
On November 17, Shaker Heights police officers responded to a 911
call made by Mason’s sister saying Mason had stabbed his estranged wife
outside her home.
Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley told reporters outside
the courtroom on Tuesday that Mason had been “lying in wait” for Fraser
to drop off their two children at his sister’s home.
“He was on a singular mission to murder her that day,” O’Malley said.
“Absolutely. That was his goal and whether his children were there,
whether neighbors were there, whether his sister was there he was going
to kill her on that morning.”
While O’Malley would not say what motivated Mason to kill his wife,
he did reveal he had been angry about something that happened a few days
earlier related to “just being a parent.”
“There’s nothing, no reason, no act that should ever cause a human
being to lash out and murder another human being,” O’Malley said. “I
don’t care what he thinks or what he thought justified it.
Nothing
justifies it.”

In 2015, Mason was sentenced to prison for domestic violence after he
punched Fraser 20 times and slammed her head against the dashboard of
their car five times the year before, WKYC reports.
Fraser had to have facial reconstruction surgery while Mason was subsequently removed from the bench.
Mason was also a former state representative and state senator.
After serving nine months, Mason was granted judicial release. In a
letter written to Fraser as part of his petition for early release,
Mason apologized for his actions.
Fraser was a teacher at Woodbury Elementary School. She had worked in
the school system in Shaker Heights, where her two children were
students, for 16 years, according to The Washington Post.
O’Malley said his office “never” considered offering Mason a chance
to plead guilty to lesser charges. He plans to fighting for Mason to
remain behind bars for his entire life.
“Domestic violence and this kind of domestic abuse crosses all
socioeconomic classes and races, and the reality is we see it too often
in this community,” O’Malley said Tuesday. “By making him accept every
count, we’re attempting to send the message to the people in this county
that it will not be tolerated.”
