DENVER — Colorado's firebrand 3rd District Congresswoman Lauren Boebert has been blocking critics on her personal Twitter account. That move has landed her in hot water.
A constituent, former State Representative Bri Buentello, has filed a lawsuit against Boebert in U.S. District Court, alleging violation of her First Amendment rights.
Buentello, whose term ended last week, told Denver7 she'd heard from constituents that Boebert was blocking them on Twitter, so she sent a tweet to the Congresswoman telling her she can't do that.
"I was so shocked at first I thought they were mistaken," she said. "In freshman orientation, you walk in the door. The first thing they do is show you where the bathrooms are, tell you how to file a bill and say, 'By the way, don't block constituents because that's an infringement on their First Amendment rights.'"
Buentello said she was incensed when she saw Boebert's tweets Jan. 6, the day thousands of Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol.
"Today is 1776," Boebert tweeted that morning and then, later that day, tweeted "The speaker has been removed from Chambers."
Buentello said those tweets were messages to protesters.
"A sitting congresswoman participating in sedition is not normal," the Pueblo Democrat said.
Buentello tweeted in reply, "#Recall @LaurenBoebert and #SeditionCaucus."
Within 24 hours, the Congresswoman blocked her.
Civil Rights attorney David Lane, of the law firm Kilmer, Lane and Newman LLP, said Boebert is infringing on his clients First Amendment rights.
"She is constantly complaining about the alt-right being censored, and social media censoring people, and here she is," he said. "Any hint of criticism on her Twitter page — she blocks the critic instantly."
Lane filed the lawsuit Sunday morning to send a message.
"It's the hypocrisy of this authoritarian-elected representative who only thinks the Constitution extends to the Second Amendment," he said. "She doesn't even know there is another part of the Constitution beyond the Second Amendment, so our job is to try to teach the authoritarian politician to respect the Constitution."
Lane said it makes no difference that Boebert was blocking critics on her personal, not work, Twitter account.
He said President Donald Trump was sued for the same thing and lost.
"Donald Trump tried to defend by saying, 'That's my personal account,' but the court made short shrift of that argument, saying all he posts are political issues, therefore it's a political forum, and you can't block it."
Lane also said the First Amendment applies to government — not to companies like Facebook or Twitter.
He said companies can censor, but government officials can't.
When asked about the lawsuit, Jeff Small, Boebert's Chief of Staff said, "The office will not be commenting on any pending litigation."
Earlier this month, Boebert told Denver7 she represents 800,000 people in her district, "that will never have an opportunity to stand on the House floor, to voice their concerns. So I am taking on the role of being their megaphone."
Buentello is not happy with the job Boebert has done so far.
"In case nobody's told her yet, she doesn't just work for the far-right Republicans who live in her district. She works for all of us. She works for me, she works for my husband. She works for my Republican best friend. She works for everybody that lives in those 25,000 square miles," she said.

Dossier author Christopher Steele admitted to the FBI that he leaked the Russia collusion story during the height of the 2016 election to help Hillary Clinton overcome her lingering email scandal and because he believed Donald Trump’s election would be bad for U.S. relations with his home country of Britain, according to documents declassified by the president in his final full day in office.
The FBI report of agents’ interview with Steele in September 2017, nearly a year after he had been terminated as an informant, provided explosive information about his motives in working simultaneously for the FBI and the opposition research firm for Clinton’s campaign. The document was obtained by Just the News and at times reads like a confessional from the now-infamous former MI6 agent and author of the anti-Trump dossier.
Steele told agents that then-FBI Director James Comey’s decision to re-open the Clinton email investigation in fall of 2016 became his tipping point for leaking the anti-Trump collusion research that his company Orbis Intelligence had gathered and given to the FBI.

The media immediately brought cover to this potential evidence of fraud by claiming it was “camera equipment” and others said it was merely food being brought in for workers. But the witnesses are adamant that they saw boxes of ballots brought in, processed, and counted to add illegal votes to the totals for Joe Biden so that he could win Michigan’s electoral votes.
Even though there are no cameras allowed inside the counting area, where Detroit City officials would later cover the windows and illegally expel the GOP so they could not view the processing of ballots, there are over 600 cameras throughout the rest of the TCF center.
When the Gateway Pundit originally requested the footage from these cameras, we were told by Detroit Regional Convention Facility Authority FOIA Officer Denise Jaison that it would cost $22,000. We then asked if we could merely have the footage from between 3:00AM-5:00AM and were quoted $10,000 as the price for that footage. Now, the Pundit is set to receive 1,200 hours of video footage from 600 cameras helping to settle once and for all whether there was a 3:30AM Biden Ballot Dump or whether it was a set of Nikons or a buffet plate of chicken fingers.

Legislature but there is no word whether anything was tendered in
response to the subpoena. And local legal figures relate that it is
unsure whether the information collected will be public information,

Democrats are preparing the US Capitol for the inauguration of Joe Biden this week.
Already the statement they and their allies are making to the American
people is that “we fear you” and “we will crush any dissent.”
In the days leading up to the Biden inaugural, the nation’s capital has been turned into an occupied military zone like Baghdad. In fact, there are more US troops in the nation’s capital today than in Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan combined.
Armed US troops authorized to use lethal force are manning checkpoints to enter and leave downtown Washington, D.C. Green Zone and Red Zone perimeters have been established.
And according to former Deputy of Homeland Security Ken Cuccinelli told Newsmax TV that Nancy Pelosi called for crew-served automatic weapons on light armored vehicles be included in the National Guard’s arsenal to mow down any people who may storm the US Capitol on Inauguration Day.

On Sunday, January 17th, 2021, armed protesters began assembling at Michigan’s capitol building in Lansing.
In an unprecedented fashion, federal armed troops have been amassing in Capitol cities by the thousands around the country in preparation for the 2021 presidential inauguration. Such oppressive militant behavior is generally indicative of dictators in third-world countries who were not elected lawfully and who fear retaliation from their oppressed countrymen. It is a show of complete dominance over a helpless people who have no Constitutional rights.
One such display is taking place in at the Michigan State Capitol Building in Lansing. It is being met with a small band of protesters who have begun to amass.
In a video by BGOnTheScene, a leader of the small group who is wearing an LGBTQ flag delivers a very brief statement while holding a rifle outside a make-shift fence surrounding the state Capitol as a precaution for the Biden inauguration on January 20th. He is standing next to what appears to be a Black Lives Matter protester in a BLM hoodie. All of the protesters, except the speaker, are masked to hide their identities, much like BLM/Antifa would do. Given all of these facts, it is difficult to believe that most or all of the people taking part in this protest are conservatives or Trump supporters.
This supported by the fact that the first arrivals to the protest had very sturdy home-made Pro-Whitmer signs attached to their truck beds:

However, he does offer a somewhat ominous warning:

He finishes by saying that “We can do this together…I don’t want Americans fighting Americans…and I don’t want the government to laugh all the way to the bank while they do it”
The author of the video states that the speaker is with the Boogaloo Bois, a group that is neither pro-Trump nor right-wing and has been known to support groups like Antifa/BLM or LGBTQ. However, there is no verification about what groups these people are with because he doesn’t say the group’s name or organization in the video. However, the BLM hoodie and other noteworthy bits of attire would suggest they are not right-wing extremists or Trump supporters. Especially since President Trump has denounced the violence at the capitol and insisted on peacefulness.

On Monday news broke that Dominion Voting Systems threatened My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell with a letter dated December 23, 2020, from defamation lawyers. In the letter, Dominion lawyer Thomas A. Clare called Lindell’s attacks on the voting company used in all six contested states “implausible,” adding they have “no basis in reality.”
100 Percent Fed Up later reported – Mike Lindell is not the only person who received a threatening letter from Dominion—at least one GOP poll challenger in Michigan (who never even mentioned Dominion in her affidavit) received a threatening letter from Dominion.
Mike Lindell, a devout Christian, is not worried about a letter from Dominion lawyers threatening defamation. Like President Trump, Lindell is a fighter and is vowing to fight back, telling Axios that he’s looking forward to Dominion’s lawsuit. “I want Dominion to put up their lawsuit because we have 100% evidence that China and other countries used their machines to steal the election.”
Also on Monday Bed, Bath and Beyond issued a statement saying the company will no longer sell “My Pillow” products after Mike Lindell challenged the election results.

The New York Times recently outlined the inner workings of a secret deal between Facebook and Google that allowed the companies to jointly dominate the online advertising market.
In an article titled “Behind a Secret Deal Between Google and Facebook,” the New York Times outlines a secret deal between Facebook and Google related to the online advertising market that the two companies largely dominate.
Facebook revealed in 2017 that it was testing a new way of selling ads online that could threaten Google’s control of the online advertising market, but just two years later Facebook announced that it would be joining an alliance of companies backing a similar effort by Google, seemingly abandoning its own plans that would have allowed the company to better compete with Google.
Facebook never clarified why it seemed to abandon its own project, but an antitrust lawsuit filed by ten state attorneys general last month implies that Google had extended to Facebook a sweetheart deal to be a partner.
Executives at six of the partners in the alliance told the NYT that their agreements with Google did not contain many of the generous benefits that Facebook received and that Google had given Facebook a significant advantage over the other partners in the alliance.
The deal between Google and Facebook was reportedly code-named “Jedi Blue” and pertains to a segment of the online advertising market called programmatic advertising. A new advertising method called header bidding emerged as part of a workaround to reduce reliance on Google’s ad platforms.
The NYT explains:
In the milliseconds between a user clicking on a link to a web page and the page’s ads loading, bids for available ad space are placed behind the scenes in marketplaces known as exchanges, with the winning bid passed to an ad server. Because Google’s ad exchange and ad server were both dominant, it often directed the business to its own exchange.
Header bidding provided a workaround that allowed news outlets and other sites to solicit bids from multiple exchanges at once, increasing competition and leading to better prices for publishers. In an attempt to prevent significant losses from the new method, Google developed an alternative called Open Bidding that allowed other exchanges to simultaneously compete alongside Google. Google would then receive a fee for every winning bid.
The NYT writes:
The threat of Facebook, one of the biggest ad buyers on the internet, supporting header bidding was a grave concern at Google. The draft of the complaint reviewed by The Times cited an email from a Google executive calling it an “existential threat” that required “an all hands on deck approach.”
Facebook announced in March 2017 that it was testing header bidding with publishers like The Washington Post, Forbes and The Daily Mail. Facebook also took a jab at Google, saying the digital ad industry had been handing over profits to “third-party middlemen who make the rules and obfuscate the truth.”
Before Google and Facebook signed the deal in Sept. 2018, Facebook executives outlined the company’s options to Mark Zuckerberg, its chief executive, according to the draft of the complaint: hire hundreds more engineers and spend billions of dollars to compete against Google; exit the business; or do the deal.

Donald Trump might already be ineligible to serve as president of the United States in the future. That’s true even without an impeachment process that ends with a formal ban from future public office
The relevant constitutional provision is Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, enacted in the aftermath of the Civil War and mentioned in the article of impeachment proposed before the House this week. The provision bars a person from holding any office “under the United States” if the person has sworn an oath of allegiance to the Constitution and then “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the government or “given aid to the enemies” of the U.S.
Does this provision to apply to Trump? The first part certainly does: Trump took an oath to uphold the Constitution when he became president.

Hillary Clinton suggested that President Trump conspired with Vladimir Putin during the Capitol Riot in a podcast interview with Speaker Pelosi.
“I would love to see his phone records, to see whether he was talking to Putin the day that the insurgents invaded our capitol,” sore loser Hillary Clinton said to Pelosi. “But we all know that not just him, but his enablers, his accomplices, his cult members, have the same disregard for democracy.”
She continued, “Do you think we need a 9/11 type commission to investigate and report everything that they can pull together and explain what happened?”
“I do,” Pelosi said. “To your point who is he beholden to — as I’ve said over and over…as I pointed to him, with you Mr. President, all roads lead to Putin.”
“I don’t know what Putin has on him politically, financially, or personally, but what happened last week was a gift to Putin because Putin wants to undermine democracy in our country and throughout the world. And these people, unbeknownst to them, are Putin puppets. They were doing Putin’s business when they did that…” Pelosi said.

Democrat Ritchie Torres (D-NY) pushed new legislation to encircle the US Capitol with a fence and secure barricade to protect lawmakers from the people.
Torres told reporters, “We have to ensure the Capitol is secure during a time of sedition.”
For years Democrats in Congress insisted walls don’t work. But they sure are quick to change their mind when they fear for their own protection.
In 2019 Democrats sued President Trump in order to block his border wall project. They fought it every step of the way.

Joe Biden on Monday nominated San Diego Unified School District Superintendent Cindy Marten to serve as his administration’s Deputy Secretary of Education.
Cindy Marten is a far left radical who promoted dangerous ‘critical race theory’ in San Diego public schools.
According to whistleblower documents obtained by investigative reporter Christopher Rufo, Marten promoted the concept that schools “spirit murder” black children and that white teachers should undergo “antiracist therapy.”
San Diego Unified School District tells white teachers they are guilty of “spirit murdering” black children and should undergo “antiracist therapy for White educators.”
This summer, San Diego Unified hired critical race theorist Bettina Love for a district-wide training on “[challenging] the oppressive practices that live within … school organizations.” The district forbade recordings, but my whistleblower took screenshots and detailed notes.
According to the whistleblower notes, Love began by saying that “racism runs deep” in America and that blacks alone “know who America really is.” Love claimed that public schools “don’t see [blacks] as human,” perpetuate “anti-Blackness,” and “spirit murder babies.”
The concept of “spirit murder” is at the heart of Love’s teachings. Love writes that public schools are guilty of “the spirit murdering of Black and Brown children,” defines as “a death that is built on racism and intended to reduce, humiliate, and destroy people of color.”
