NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. — A driver who police say sped through a red light before crashing his sports car into a minivan, killing himself, his passenger and seven members of a North Las Vegas family, had a history of speeding and prior criminal convictions for drug and battery offenses, authorities said Monday.

A National Transportation Safety Board member, Thomas Chapman, told reporters that federal crash investigators will conduct what he called a “parallel” investigation to one being conducted by North Las Vegas police, looking for “broader safety issues of national significance.”

“Our mission is to understand not just what happened, but why it happened,” Chapman said, “and to recommend changes to prevent it from happening again.”

North Las Vegas police Officer Alexander Cuevas confirmed the driver who caused the crash, Gary Dean Robinson, 59, of North Las Vegas, had a prior history of traffic and criminal offenses.

Robinson pleaded guilty just nine days before Saturday’s deadly crash to speeding in Las Vegas in December and was fined $150, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported, citing court documents.

Robinson also was ticketed for speeding by Las Vegas police last August; by North Las Vegas police three times between November 2020 and February 2021; and by Henderson police once in 2017, the Review-Journal found.

Robinson had a state prison record after pleading guilty in 2004 to felony cocaine possession and violating terms of his probation, and he had a 2009 misdemeanor conviction for battery on a courtroom bailiff, court records showed.

A man who identified himself as Robinson’s son, Gary Robinson Jr., declined to comment during a telephone call Monday from The Associated Press.

On Saturday, according to police, Robinson’s maroon Dodge Challenger raced at more than 100 mph (161 kph) through a red traffic signal at a busy crossroad, slamming into a Toyota Sienna minivan containing seven family members and triggering chain-reaction crashes involving three other vehicles including a Ford Fusion in which a 31-year-old woman was critically injured.

In all, 15 people were involved in the wrecks, Cuevas said.

It could take up to four weeks for investigators to learn from blood toxicology tests if Robinson was impaired by drugs or alcohol at the time of the mid-afternoon crash, said Dan Kulin, spokesman for Clark County Coroner Melanie Rouse.

Killed in the minivan were the driver, Jose Zacarias-Caldera, 35; and passengers David Mejia-Barrera, 25; Gabriel Mejia-Barrera, 23; Bryan Axel Zacarias, 15; Lluvia Daylenn Zacarias, 13; Adrian Zacarias, 10; and Fernando Yeshua Mejia, 5. They lived in North Las Vegas, Rouse reported.

“It was all one family,” said North Las Vegas City Councilman Isaac Barron, a high school teacher who said his students grew up with Bryan Zacarias and characterized him as a popular and funny classmate.

Barron said plans were being made for a community memorial at a time to be announced.

“It’s a difficult time now,” said Councilwoman Pamela Goynes-Brown, who said she knew members of the Zacarias family. “Just keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers.”

Authorities get set to tow a vehicle involved a six-car crash at the scene of a fatal crash on West Cheyenne Avenue in North Las Vegas.

Rouse on Monday identified the passenger who died in Robinson’s wrecked car as Tanaga Ravel Miller, 46, of North Las Vegas.

An online GoFundMe fundraiser launched in Spanish by Erlinda Zacarias identified the people killed in the minivan as her family and said she had no words to describe the pain and suffering she and her husband were bearing. The account showed some 4,000 donors contributed more than $175,000 as of Monday afternoon.

Chapman said the safety board may focus on what he called “a comprehensive strategy to eliminate speed-related crashes.”

“Tragedies such as this compel us to evaluate the potential for improving safety by incorporating speed-limiting technology in all vehicles,” the safety board member told reporters, including high-performance sports cars.

A 21-year-old footballer died during a match after a sudden cardiac arrest with no defibrillator or ambulance available at the First Municipal Stadium during a match against Ermionida on Wednesday.

The attacking midfielder collapsed with just five minutes on the clock while playing for Greek team Ilioupoli. Doctors from both teams rushed in and tried to revive him, according to local reports. Unfortunately, the ambulance arrived at the scene for another 20 minutes so he was not revived immediately, the Sun reported. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His death was announced by his team through social media without giving any further information about his death.

The club wrote [translated]: “Our Aleko, our friend, our brother, you left so unjustly. The whole team, the whole city is mourning today. The words do not come out… only an unbearable pain and a knot in the stomach. Have a good trip Alecara.”

May his soul Rest in Peace.

A Florida man and woman have been arrested in connection to the killing of a 78-year-old man who deputies say was "brutally murdered" in a broad daylight carjacking at a CVS parking lot on Sunday.

Javonne Marece White, 19, and Jasmine Yvonne Munro, 25, both faces charges of first-degree murder in the death of Uken Lloyd Cummings, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said. White and Munro were seen handcuffed during a perp walk on video released by the sheriff’s office early Thursday.

Cummings had just picked up his medication from the pharmacy located on Silver Star Road in Orlando and was returning to his car when two individuals confronted him, Sheriff John Mina told reporters.

The suspects allegedly shot Cummings, stole his keys and left him for dead.

"While he lay on the ground, these brazen killers backed the car over him and then ran him over again while fleeing the scene in his Mercedes," the sheriff’s office said.

Cummings had relocated to Florida in 2008 to retire with his wife after working for 40 years as a security guard for the New York City Hospital Police.

He was a father of four and had 10 grandchildren. His wife of 54 years died a few months earlier.

Earlier this week, officials offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

"To the murderers who senselessly ripped this man away from their family, we’re coming for you," Mina had said.

As of early Thursday, no details on what led to the arrests of White and Munro were immediately available.

A 28-year-old businesswoman from Reading, England was diagnosed with a Functional Neurological Disorder, a condition directly at the intersection of neurology and psychiatry, after receiving the Pfizer COVID vaccine.

Katrina Hermez shared on her social media that her life turned upside down after getting the vaccine last June 27^th. Katrina took the vaccine because she assumed it was the right thing to do as told by the government.

“I have to speak out… I had my first jab because I was made to believe it was the correct thing to do by our government. But a week after now, it changed my life and turned it on its head. I am now having – full-body paralysis, seizures, speech issues, nearly diagnosed amnesia, migraines every day, blood in my ear, vertigo, nausea, and more. I want my story to be heard to save others from this happening to them,” Katrina wrote on her Instagram account two weeks ago.

“They said it would protect me, they said it would protect others, they said it could save us, they said we need at least one, then two, now three. How many more until we’re all grieving?” she continued.

On Wednesday, Katrina posted another update on her condition. She stated in her caption that she will not give up sharing the truth.

According to her fundraising campaign, it all began last July, days after she took the vaccine. Her symptoms began with brain fog, vertigo, skin rashes, and she started to feel sick. As time passed, it became more severe, her mental health crashed, and she experienced her first seizure.

In November, she was found on the floor at her workplace completely paralyzed and unable to speak. Paramedics were called and she was rushed to the hospital and stayed there for a week. The doctors initially thought she had a stroke. The doctors conducted CAT and MRI scans on her and she was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder without any further assessments.

My life has completely been turned upside down and now I cannot leave the house without someone’s help and my walking stick. I seem to be getting a multitude of new symptoms as the days go by. Blood in my ear, my ears aching every day and the ringing and dizziness doesn’t go away. I’ve had four episodes of severe temporary full-body paralysis and slurred speech that takes a while to recover from. I’ve also had four less severe episodes that involve having my friends find me on the floor or unable to move and respond normally and having to pick me up. Last month, as the omicron variant of the coronavirus spread throughout the United States, a woman in Washington state grew frustrated after waiting five hours for her rapid coronavirus test result. But when she returned to the site, a staffer told her the clinic had lost her result, court records state.

The woman told authorities she got a second coronavirus test at the same Center for Covid Control site. But two hours later, she was told her test result had been misplaced again.

Then, about a minute later, the woman got an email notifying her that she had tested negative for the coronavirus, court records state. The woman went to work the following day but remained concerned about the accuracy of the two tests. She got a third test at a local health department site, according to court records, and that result was positive.

Now, Washington's attorney general is suing the Illinois-based clinic, its laboratory and its co-owners - Akbar Syed and Aleya Siyaj - for allegedly jeopardizing the health and safety of thousands of Washingtonians by failing to meet best medical practices during a pandemic. The clinic, the lawsuit alleges, provided "invalid, false and delayed" coronavirus test results - and at times no results at all. The attorney general's office says the Center for Covid Control operated at least 13 testing sites across Washington, despite having a license to operate in only one municipality.

According to the lawsuit filed this week, the clinic stored test samples in red garbage bags for more than a week instead of properly refrigerating them. Because the samples could not be accurately tested after three days, workers would backdate them so they would still be processed by the lab, Washington authorities said.

"Employees reported that the company instructed them to 'lie to patients on a daily basis' when Washingtonians complained about their delayed results," Attorney General Bob Ferguson, D, said in a news release.

He added: "Center for COVID Control contributed to the spread of COVID-19 when it provided false negative results. These sham testing centers threatened the health and safety of our communities. They must be held accountable."

The center and its founders did not immediately respond to messages from The Washington Post early Wednesday. All Center for Covid Control locations are "closed until further notice," according to a news release from the company.

"CCC is using this operational pause to train additional staff on sample collection and handling, customer service and communications best practices, as well as compliance with regulatory guidelines," the company posted on its website.

Syed and Siyaj, who are married, started the business in December 2020 and expanded it to 300 sites across the United States. The company began operating coronavirus testing sites in Washington in October 2021, court records state. As of Jan. 12, the company advertised free PCR and rapid tests without appointments, the lawsuit states.

According to the 14-page lawsuit, the state received multiple complaints about the company's sites. Several patients reported that the clinic did not stick to basic coronavirus safety protocols - instead, improperly masked workers were observed reusing gloves between patients and failing to properly administer the tests. At times, some patients told authorities, staff members disregarded patients' privacy and announced test results in the presence of others.

The company was also unable to fulfill its promise of delivering PCR test results via email within 48 hours and verbally sharing rapid test results within 15 minutes, the lawsuit states. Former employees told authorities that as of early December, the company was receiving between 8,000 and 10,000 results per day - a figure it knew it could not keep up with, court records state.

Because of high patient volume, the lawsuit states, the company began placing tests in garbage bags and piling them up in the office. One former employee recounted asking Syed and Siyaj, who were regularly at the facility, to hire more personnel. The couple refused, the lawsuit states. Former staffers told authorities that they regularly found test samples that were over a week old stored in the trash bags scattered around the office, the lawsuit states. Many of the samples, former employees reported, had never been refrigerated or tested by the lab.

When the company did share the results of rapid or PCR tests, the lawsuit states, the reports often were inaccurate. Patients who called back to follow up on their tests results allegedly waited as long as three hours to speak with an operator. At one point, staffers were instructed to lie to patients and tell them their lab results would come back in 24 hours - even if they were unsure when they would be processed, the lawsuit states.

"If a consumer called multiple times, employees were instructed to falsely tell consumers that the test result was inconclusive and that they needed to take another test," the lawsuit states. Doing so also allowed the company, which has allegedly billed the federal government $124 million, to charge for another test, Washington state authorities allege.

The Washington lawsuit is not the only legal action the company is facing. Last month, the FBI searched the company's headquarters in Rolling Meadows, Ill., USA Today reported. The search took place days after the Minnesota attorney general filed a consumer protection lawsuit against the company and its laboratory, alleging that they "provide inaccurate and deceptive" test results and have fraudulently reported negative test results, according to the paper.

The company also is under investigation by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Illinois attorney general and the Oregon Department of Justice.

Arizona State Representative Walt Blackman and his wife, Kristie, have targeted The Gateway Pundit correspondent Jordan Conradson with vicious smears against Conradson’s character.

TGP reported that RINO Walt Blackman was against decertification of Arizona’s fraudulent 2020 election claiming, “There is nothing in the Constitution that says that we can decertify.”

Blackman is either wrong or not telling the truth.

The U.S. Constitution grants plenary power to the State Legislature to oversee elections and choose or withdraw their state’s electors. The House and Senate can decertify with a joint resolution.

Just minutes after this article was published, Blackman called Conradson to demand that the article be taken down.

Blackman claimed that what Conradson wrote was untrue, realized he was mistaken, then pledged to post a Facebook live video to clarify his stance on decertification or nullification of the fraudulent 2020 election. Blackman quietly did a live stream, but he did not publish the video to his page.

Blackman refused to comment on why he removed the video.

Minutes after this phone call, Kristie Blackman texted Conradson.

Last Friday, The Gateway Pundit reported that Kristie sent multiple crazy texts to Conradson for hours with no response.

One of Kristie’s texts said, “I have a surprise for you.”

Hours later, Conradson was surprised to see that Kristie made public Facebook posts with vile and damaging accusations against him. On Friday, Kristie falsely claimed that Conradson sent multiple messages to Walt and Walt’s daughter, using the n-word against them.

Kristie quickly deleted the posts.

This is not even Conradson’s phone number.

Despite having his number and knowing these texts did not come from Conradson, Kristie spread this lie in an attempt to defame his character.

Was this the surprise she had planned? Were these messages even real, or was this just her plan to get back at Conradson for his work?

Kristie Blackman refused to comment on the racist accusations saying, “don’t call me again.”

On Saturday, Conradson called the phone number and reached Walt Blackman’s voicemail.

Matthew Harris, a former UCLA ‘philosophy of race’ lecturer was arrested by Colorado SWAT for threatening to commit a mass shooting against white members of the philosophy department.

SWAT officers took Harris into custody after a 3-hour stand-off at his apartment.

UCLA cancelled in-person learning on Tuesday due to the threat Harris emailed to the UCLA philosophy department, The Los Angeles Times reported.

UCLA received major backlash for initially downplaying the mass shooting threat by saying police were aware of a ‘concerning email and posting’ sent to some students.

Matthew Harris uploaded hundreds of videos to his YouTube channel about shootings before they were removed.

The email Harris sent to the philosophy department contained an 800-page manifesto where he also threatened to attack Colorado University.

“The level of violence we saw in the manifesto was obviously alarming,” said Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold. “It was very violent and it was very disturbing.”

The Daily Bruin reported that Harris was put on leave from UCLA last year after students complained that he sent them pornographic material.

According to the Times, Harris, 31, made racist comments on his YouTube videos (now scrubbed) and threatened white people.

UCLA will resume in-person classes Wednesday after a former lecturer who sent campus members a video referencing a mass shooting and an 800-page manifesto with specific threats was taken into custody Tuesday by police in Boulder, Colo.

Harris’ YouTube channel contained more than 300 videos, the majority of which were uploaded Monday. By midnight, the channel displayed a message saying that the account had been terminated.

A video titled “UCLA PHILOSOPHY (MASS SHOOTING)” was posted Sunday and contained disturbing imagery, including footage of the 2017 mass shooting at a Las Vegas music festival and clips from the 2003 movie “Zero Day,” which is loosely based on the Columbine High School mass shooting.

In several videos, Harris makes racist comments. He also cryptically names specific locations on the UCLA campus as he says they’re added to his “list.”

He talks off-camera while he plays a video game in which he runs around a virtual city, firing a gun at cars and people.

In one video, he repeats, “Do you make explosives?”

“Someday the s— might actually hit the fan,” Harris said.

The Times obtained a partial copy of Harris’ email to the UCLA philosophy department.

He makes references to race and uses several profanities. He included links to his manifesto and videos, including the video that appeared to threaten a mass shooting.

“da war is comin,” he wrote. “forward dis [expletive] to our tha goldhead caucasoid princess.”

St. Petersburg, Florida – A beautiful young woman born with a heart condition may have to have both of her legs amputated due to ‘Covid-19 complications.’

20-year-old Claire Bridges, who is fully vaccinated against Covid, is currently in the hospital facing the possibility of having both of her legs amputated because she wasn’t getting circulation to her legs after contracting Covid-19.

Claire was vaccinated, but due to a congenital heart condition, she developed a complication that could change her life forever.

“She wasn’t getting circulation to her legs and, because of that, there was a lot of muscle damage,” said her best friend and roommate, Heather Valdes.

“Claire is just a positive ray of light and she’s a wonderful woman,” Valdes said. “When she woke up and they told her about it, she was very calm and very peaceful and said, ‘I want bionic legs,’” she noted.

“Claire has been fighting for her life since Sunday, Jan 16th. She was born with a serious heart condition and after contracting COVID, she was quickly in the ICU on life support. She is only 20 years old. Due to complications and life-threatening infection, she will lose both of her legs to amputation.” – the family said on Claire’s GoFundMe page.

Why aren't the people ROBBING and STEALING in the neighborhoods of the RICH and famous ?? The "working guy" doesn't have the big bucks.

You have heard celebs and people like Jen Psaki (white house press liar puppet)... Pelosi (speaker of the house) say that crime is not a problem?

That is because thugs are stealing from the LITTLE guy who doesn't have much. Those celebs and big wigs never see crime in their area. They just drive around in their high-end cars.... go shopping in retail stores we only dream about.

And "real life crime" isn't anything that they pay attention to.
